Haha! Yeah, if one could just fall out of the sky like the snow does, that would be great! [emoji300]️

You can't really see much apart from the fireworks and the big santa but the streets are all strung with lights etc!

Awesome!!! Thanks for sharing.

Good morning!

Santa Claus is real.

Yep, you heard it here. The world may tell you otherwise, but I’m telling ya the truth. Santa is real. As we grow older, we become more skeptical of Santa, but don't ever doubt Santa.

How do I know?

When I was a kid, I saw the carrots on the roof that the reindeer ate. How else would those carrots get there? THEY WERE EVEN CHEWED(or so our little minds told us). Every Thanksgiving night, my brother and I would set out our letters to Santa and a few hours later, we would hear this bell ring from outside. That bell let us know that Santa’s elves came and got our letter. How else could you explain us getting the things we asked for during Christmas? What about the milk and cookies we set out every Christmas Eve? Where did those go? HELLO! They went to Santa!

Have you ever tracked Santa? Do you remember the newscasts when Santa showed up on the radar on the local news at 6:00 and 10:00? For crying out loud…NORAD tracks him! You can’t fake that!

Santa Claus isn’t real? Have you ever seen “The Santa Clause” parts 1,2, and 3? Are you telling me these aren’t real? Tim “The Toolman” Taylor is Santa! He has to be!

More importantly, have you ever seen Santa walk into a room full of kids? Have you ever seen them in line to see Santa at the mall? Have you ever seen the look on their faces, heard the excitement in their voices?

Friends, that anticipation in their eyes speaks to all of us. It says that Santa, in a way, is as real as it gets and Christmas is good. That look says I love the people who brought me to see Santa and I can’t wait to spend Christmas morning with these people. This, my friends, the feelings, the anticipation, the love….you can’t fake that.

As we get older, that feeling is what we are left hanging on to. Some people go through life and never lose that feeling, while some of us lose it and come back to it later in life. Regardless, the feeling of family, love, Christmas with those who mean the most….that is the same feeling we got on Christmas morning when we “believed.” You can’t deny that feeling, you can’t hide it, and you sure can’t fake it. That feeling is how I know Santa is real. That feeling is what we live for.

Santa is real, friends. He is alive and in all of our hearts. I believe in Santa and I believe in the Christmas spirit. And like Christmas, Santa is coming….

And like Christmas is coming, and like is Santa coming….so is “Little Bambina #2”. May God Bless you as much as he has my little family in the past week.

“Then my kids will be gone and have their own families and will decide if they will tell their kids the truth about Santa Claus. And, in that moment, I hope when they think back on all the Christmases that they spent with us growing up…I hope they smile. I hope they remember the love we shared together…the anticipation of Christ…the anticipation of Santa.”

And so it comes to this…..5 more days until the season….

Beautiful Coach!! I got chills reading it.

More importantly congratulations on #2

Good evening everyone!

It was a busy afternoon. Actually, it was much busier than expected. It seemed the Christmas Spirit is almost in full swing for many people in Ottawa. The streets were crowded, the stores were full, the snow was falling. The only thing missed was the Christmas music. We're almost there. It also seems as if some stores are waiting until at least after November 11th to fully decorate. I can totally respect that. Still, most places had Christmas almost everywhere. I had to catch myself a few times. I've still yet to see any Christmas decorations inside a mall, however. This week, I am sure.

The Great Tree Debate of 2014 has been settled. Kim and I agreed to go off the board from last night's two options. Apparently, we missed a nice 7.5-foot Christmas Tree at Canadian Tire. It was regularly $300 and on sale for $150! Great deal. It has less lights than the 6.5-foot tree, but it has nearly double the tips, and we can just add lights if we need more. The lights are also LED Warm White lights. We are pleased with our purchase. We'll be putting it up next Friday. Believe it or not, we still don't know where in the living room it will go... We'll figure it out on Friday!

I said I would put some pictures on the Blossoms thread today, but it might have to wait until tomorrow. My old roommate Cassie is having a birthday celebration for her boyfriend, who is also a good friend/teammate of mine, so Kim and I have to head out shortly after we eat dinner. It's been a busy day, indeed! No time to rest.

I hope you all have had a great Saturday afternoon! Keep enjoying the weekend!!

Congrats on your tree!!!

The steaks are very yummy, and you cannot not love a place you can throw peanut shells on the floor. cheesy

My thoughts exactly!! [emoji4][emoji28]

Good evening!
I wanted to share some new kitten pictures but Tapatalk isn't letting me post pictures anymore. Not sure what's going on, its so annoying. Anyway, I never got to go Christmas shopping this afternoon, I'll have to do some tomorrow. My husband got home from work early so we went to look for curtains and a few area rugs. Since I'm hosting Thanksgiving the pressure is on to finish up this house. The end of this project is in sight!
We finally got some cooler temperatures, I heard we may see some snow flurries next week. My two oldest have some friends over, since its too cold to be outside they set up our garage with a big table & chairs and they hung Christmas lights up, it looks very festive. My husband even set up a space heater so its nice and warm. At least they have somewhere to go with their friends. My youngest is in the city with a group of friends so I doubt I'll sleep well until I know she's home safe and sound. But I am exhausted from running around all day so I'm going to lay down. I hope everyone had a wonderful day, I'll see you in the morning. Enjoy the rest of the evening, goodnight!

Sometimes having a solid deadline is the best thing for getting a project done. We moved into our house in mid-October 2008, and we were to host Christmas Eve in our home for the first time 2 months later. We got everything done due to that deadline.

and congratulations, wonderful news that Bambina #2 is on the way

Good morning, friends~
Happy Sunday!!
What are your plans for the day?
I plan to continue to work on my tree, I got about half of it decorated before my cousin came over, then I spent the rest of the evening catching up with her. And then tonight, watching football. Go Pack, Go!! We are bracing ourselves for the first real snowfall of the year- starting off with a bang! Winter storm warning starts tonight through Tuesday. High winds, dropping temps, blowing & drifting, 8-12 inches expected. Will be gorgeous, but not looking forward to the commutes. The plows aren't too on top of things here. They wait until 3 inches fall to even begin. [emoji301]️ [emoji300]️[emoji301]️[emoji300]️[emoji301]️
Anyways, have a blessed day with your loved ones!!
