Not me; never any time for TV. My and our DAR.fm is full (87 GB & 43 GB respectively)! Crank the radio (okay, mp3 player then) to blast, baby!

.

Nice, I should really start looking into that DAR.fm, I love me some Christmas music. Thanks for the link.

Brave fellow! I can't think about taking mine down until New Year's Day is over. Even so, I'll probably wait until NEXT weekend.

I am with you, I can't be without my tree yet, the PCB's would destroy me at this point if I did that. As of right now the earliest the first tree comes down will be January 13 this year. (My tradition is not to take down or shut off any of my lights until after my birthday. My last day can never be my birthday (Jan. 7) so my outdoor lights are shut off after being lit up for the night of January 8. indoor stay on until they are down, and the window candles come down the first day of spring.)

Do I sound crazy? cheesy

Happy New Year, my friends!

Thanks for the new thread, Crown! It smells like cookies and cinnamon in here...I'm home.

I hope y'all have a wonderful year! cheesy

Me, too. But I tell myself they have to be packed away to recharge their magic for next year. And it'll feel so good to unpack them again when the time comes!

I usually give my tree a hug before I pack it away for the year. I learned that from CM3, she use to hug her tree all the time.

Welp. It's officially over for me. I don't necessarily observe the "12 Days of Christmas." I awoke this morning, 2015, and Christmas still filled my apartment. After about 3 hours of taking down the snow globes, pictures, signs, Santa Clauses, Tree, and all other Christmas decorations that fill my life with such joy for almost two months throughout the year, the apartment is now back to its regular setup.

Simon seemed a little confused as to what we were doing. He didn't like his tree being taken away and put into storage. His first Christmas has come and gone. He was wonderful throughout and I am sure that he will be just as excited for his second cat Christmas!

Sounds like you have been busy. I have taken down a few things but will really start tomorrow with my Santa's and then the tree over the weekend.

Love that movie.

You are well deserving of that award, Made.

Thank you, Xmas!!!

Not at all!!! We all understand!!!

We saw about the last half hour after the Boston fireworks. I have a lot of respect for the Stooges, but they're not my favorite style of comedy!

I love the Stooges, when I was single my checks were printed with scenes from them. I actually prefer the Marx Brothers comedy over the Stooges, but still love them.

I always give mine a big bear hug too. I say it's just so I can fit it back in the box but it's really just because I'm going to miss it!!

In the words of Larry the Cable Guy, "Now that's funny right there!"

No one is more deserving of the honor, my friend. Congratulations! cheesy

Must tear myself away for now. Tea and video are calling to me, and I need to put together my post-Christmas iTunes library to wean off Christmas music. (I like to keep it fresh so I can look forward to it in the fall!)

I will be breaking out the Status Quo music soon enough, but still can't get enough Christmas music yet. (once again, after my birthday.) cheesy

I do it because I will miss it too, my wife gives a big awwww when she sees me do it. Thank God she understands how much I love Christmas.

Good afternoon,

I finally have got through the first 20 pages of the new 2015 Countdown thread, we are off and running!!!

I tried earlier but we had some errands to run, Turtle had a "spa" day as my wife said. He looks good after his haircut, shampoo and everything else.

It is sad to see the stores are now pretty much Christmas free, some of the stores we went into had just about zero left.

The boys and myself are watching "Elf:Buddy's Musical Christmas" now, never had a chance to watch it before Christmas. May have to add it to my DVD collection next year.

Three more days off before going back to work, my one true resolution is to find a new job/career this year. I know sounds like a broken record. I just need to break my comfort zone and focus on my future, and happiness in my professional life.

Just turned on my Christmas lights for the first time in 2015.

Happy New Year, everyone.

I will be in throughout the night.
