Good morning MMC! Happy Hump/Pines Day!!! Hope everyone is having a good day!! As I mentioned before it's absolutely perfect here this morning. Sunshine, 64º, low humidity! Lovin it. Our high is 79º today, but the humidity is supposed to stay away which makes a huge difference!

I didn't get to go shopping after work last night, which was fine with me...but now I need to go today. Thankfully my sister has a shirt I am borrowing for family pictures, so I only need to go to the grocery tonight. That's not so bad! After work yesterday my sis & I trimmed Moms shrubs, then I ran to the lake to drop a few things off, went home to mow lawn & pull weeds in the grotto & then I was about worn out! BUT Gracie wanted to play ball, so we did! It was such a nice night to be outside!

My sis & I were texting back & forth this morning contemplating playing hooky today! But darn it anyway, here I am at work. LOL

It's my last day of work before going on mini-vacation to the river again with friends. I'm looking forward to that, but I've got a long day ahead of me! Here's hoping things get done and I'm able to get ready for the river on time-and that lots of work won't be waiting for me when I get back Sunday morning. Hope everyone has an awesome day today!

A little late post as I have just returned from hockey...

As you may recall, I posted about a massive Christmas Village needing a Christmas-loving owner in the midwest. Well, I have been in contact with the current owner, and they said that they would definitely be interested in contacting someone who would be interested in the village.

I also made a similar post in the Christmas Decorations forum, but I don't know how many people visit there.



Is anyone interested? Made? Snowflake? I know there are a few other midwesterners, too! I would love to see a friend add to their collection!

I posted a suggestion in your other thread ... Maybe someplace like the National Christmas Center or an attraction in Santa Claus, Ind. would be interested in it, if an individual isn't able to "adopt" it. Or maybe Bronner's would like to have it as an attraction. Some public venue where the entire public could enjoy it. Wouldn't that make the former owner proud! Does anyone have any connections?

wow, that would be so awesome to own ! Reminds me of going to Bronners.
It would be wonderful to give that a good home, one would need a room in the house where it could stay set up year round. Maybe the Inn At Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge, TN would like to buy it ?

Or the Christmas Farm Inn in New Hampshire ... they have Christmas-themed accommodations. Would be a heckuva addition if they have a super-suite of some sort!
