My husband was just telling me his coworkers mother wants to sell her Dept. 56 Christmas Village collection. He wants to get it for me, he knows how much I always wanted one. He's going to get more details today. I hope it works out, I would love to have it ♥

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! Here we go another day in December. I really am loving the Christmas lights out when I go running in the morning...on my drive home from work in the evening. I'm thinking I need to take some walks around the neighborhood in the evening...maybe this weekend. It's so nice to take it all in. I feel like I'm running all over and am tired but nothing can stop me with my eyes on all the fun things that are still to come this month. All the special moments and great food and fun times and family.
I hope you all have a great Tuesday. Look more at those Christmas lights today and watch an extra Christmas show.

Good morning MMC! Happy Tuesday! December 8th already! Geesh! Had a busy night last night. Went to Moms after work & put up her outside lights & garland. Then home to collect my pumpkins & brought them to the dumpster at work...back home to put up more outside lights. We lit up my brothers memorial tree in the back yard. We weren't able to do that last year b/c of the mud from remodeling & I really missed it! It definitely got bigger!!! We had so many strands of lights not working & I decided to try to fix one - something I said I was never going to do again....what a pain! It's working but watch, we'll put them on a tree outside & they will burn out after a week. Ha ha! I watched The Santa Claus after we quit on lights & that's about it for the night! It was so nice outside, it was a good time to do it! It's supposed to be another nice day here too with a high of 51º!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's a very nice, chilly morning today. Much like Crown, however, it's supposed to be in the mid-70's by this weekend. I'm hoping for a cold Christmas, but we've had some warm enough for shorts LOL!

She was fine & dandy, thanks! She went along to "Grandma's" to help put lights up & schmoozed her out of some of her supper & dessert!

I understand. My nephew is a Deputy Sheriff & another nephew (his brother) a firefighter/EMT. Always a worry!

Good evening everyone. I'm having a hard time keeping up here lately. I know you all understand why though. Such a busy and exciting time of the year! Can't believe we're a week in to December already. It's going too fast. I wanted to share a picture of the tree we got from my neighbor. Some of the lights were out on it so my husband just threw a strand on and it looks pretty good. It's the last tree we're putting up this year, I'm all out of ornaments!

I'm loving the Christmas lights as well, my husband and I drove around the neighborhood on Sunday to look at them.

I hope it works out for you. I love the Dept 56 Village, really expensive though, but with it now being pre-owned, hopefully he can get a good deal for you.
