Good Tuesday Morning MMC! Here we go another day in December. I really am loving the Christmas lights out when I go running in the morning...on my drive home from work in the evening. I'm thinking I need to take some walks around the neighborhood in the evening...maybe this weekend. It's so nice to take it all in. I feel like I'm running all over and am tired but nothing can stop me with my eyes on all the fun things that are still to come this month. All the special moments and great food and fun times and family.
I hope you all have a great Tuesday. Look more at those Christmas lights today and watch an extra Christmas show.
I like to take Gracie for a walk around the neighborhood at night to look at all the lights. With this mild weather, it's been easy to do! I noticed our 1st chance of snow is next Thursday, so I clicked on that day to expand it & noticed next Thursday is DECEMBER SEVENTEENTH already!! How did that happen??!! Have a great day Edge!

** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 26 **

Good Morning, Fans of Everything Holiday!
And indeed we are right in the heart of the Holiday Season, moving rapidly closer to Christmas Day!

The daily count:
Days to Christmas Day: 17
And just like that, we pass BELOW two and one half weeks!

Steadily warmer as the recent days have progressed. The weather service now says we could see 70+ by this weekend.
(WOW!)
Right now, we show the day commencing at a chilly 37 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Teriffic Tuesday, Folks.
And keep those Christmas songs and movies playing!
We are supposed to have 63º by Saturday! Crazy! Have a great day Crown!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's a very nice, chilly morning today. Much like Crown, however, it's supposed to be in the mid-70's by this weekend. I'm hoping for a cold Christmas, but we've had some warm enough for shorts LOL!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D
I hope you get your cold Christmas!!! xx I always hope for a cold Christmas (and usually get it....) but most of the time Christmas is the cut off of this nicer weather & by February I'm frozen! LOL

Good morning, everyone!

Just stopping in for a quick hello! I was off yesterday. I am now back at Russell for five days straight. I am booked until at least next Monday. I am really hoping for at least another three days before the Christmas Holidays. We'll see how it goes!

Kim and I had a fantastic time at Alight at Night in Morrisburg, Ontario. There were more than a million lights in a mid 1800s setting at Upper Canada Village. It was wondrous! I have some photos that need to be uploaded. I'll put them on the Blossoms thread tomorrow or Thursday evening.

This week should be a busy one. I have dodgeball playoffs and hockey tonight 7:30 (until 8:30) for Dodgeball and then 9pm for hockey. Hopefully I can drive across town and make it to hockey on time! Tomorrow, I have an interview to be put on the supply teachers list with the Ottawa Catholic School Board. Obviously, Russel would remain atop of my supply choices, but getting work in Ottawa on days where I cannot find work elsewhere would be fantastic! Thursday, I have to a shirt to complete my Christmas Sweater. Since it's my last weekend before heading back to the Sault for Christmas, there are plenty of things going on. The Christmas Season is really coming to a climax!

Well, I should get back to class. I hope everyone is enjoying themselves and having an exciting Christmas Season! Merry Christmas, everyone!

Well seven if you count my Charlie Brown Christmas tree :p

Love it!!!

Good morning Holiday, Happy Tuesday!
I bet the memorial tree is beautiful, so glad you were able to light it up (((hugs)))
Hope you have a wonderful day ♥
Thank you! I think it needs some tweaking yet. We need to get the ladder out & get more lights to the top. It just got so tall!! And it was getting too late last night to mess with it anymore. Maybe at lunch I'll look at it again! But I'm very happy it's lit up! We let it on all night last night - was so calming to see it lit up through the window this morning. :)

I'm finding out about that the hard way. I have a few strings of C7 lights for one of our trees. I checked each strand and replaced all the dead bulbs before I took each string outside. Put 'em on the tree---more dead bulbs, so I fixed 'em. Now the entire top string is dead except for ONE bulb at the plug end. I may put minis on that tree next year instead---they don't seem to burn out as fast!
So frustrating!!!! I put some C7's out at Moms last night. Had to replace quite a few We'll see how they hold up!!

This picture reminded me of you...:)

Thanks, Holiday! It was an amazing experience. I took about 20 photos. I hope they turned out OK. There are also a few other photos that will have to wait for about another 10 days... What are they? Everyone will have to wait and see! I hope to get more before Christmas, too. Three days next week would be decent. Have a great day, Holiday!

Good morning MMC! Happy Tuesday! December 8th already! Geesh! Had a busy night last night. Went to Moms after work & put up her outside lights & garland. Then home to collect my pumpkins & brought them to the dumpster at work...back home to put up more outside lights. We lit up my brothers memorial tree in the back yard. We weren't able to do that last year b/c of the mud from remodeling & I really missed it! It definitely got bigger!!! We had so many strands of lights not working & I decided to try to fix one - something I said I was never going to do again....what a pain! It's working but watch, we'll put them on a tree outside & they will burn out after a week. Ha ha! I watched The Santa Claus after we quit on lights & that's about it for the night! It was so nice outside, it was a good time to do it! It's supposed to be another nice day here too with a high of 51º!
Have a great day everyone!!

Wow. We are a movin' along! Those Christmas songs and specials are certainly playing and being enjoyed! I am quite behind in my movies though. I really need to pick it up! I still haven't watched personal favourites and classics such as The Muppet Christmas Carol, Trapped In Paradise, Christmas Vacation, Deck The Halls, Elf, and a few others!
I hear ya Brent. Lots of great ones I still need to watch. Hope to catch up starting this weekend when things will slow down a bit.
