Christmas Countdown - 2015

[Holiday]

I never had a chance to wish you all a good evening before I left work today, so I thought I would check in!

Just finished the "Firm 30" & it wasn't as bad as I thought! I feel better after it tonight than I did Tuesday night. Wew! Walked a couple miles with Leslie after & just as I hit pause on the dvd after mile 2 my Fitbit buzzed letting me know I hit 10,000 steps! Perfect timing! I didn't want to have to do another mile! :lol:

At lunch I grilled some sirloin burgers & then put them in the crock pot with some potatoes & cream of mushroom soup, so that will be our supper before I head to S & B at my friends tonight. My friend that is hosting S & B tonight ~ it's her hubby's birthday today so my hubby is going out with him tonight. Works out great! cheesy

Our HS bball team is playing in tournament tonight so that will give Dad something to do at the nursing home tonight. If he has to be there, he did pick a good time to have to be there - HS b-ball tournaments & March Madness & cold outside!

Enough jabbering - have a GREAT night MMC! Stay warm! (going to be COLD here)

Good Morning MMC !!

yesterday was a beautiful day, actually went above 0c! This morning however we are back down to a wind chill of -24c (-11f) brrrrrrrrrr

Off to work again today. Yesterday no one showed up in the cash office which meant we opened the store and could only take debit or credit because I had no $$$. Someone came running in 1/2 hour later and in record time had our tills out to us. Then someone went home sick so we were short handed for awhile....fun start to my day. The rest went well and fast as it was busy.

Great morning! What is the very first thing that happened to me that was great, that you may be pondering at the moment....Well, pull up an ice block, and I'll tell you!

First thing, I had my noodle head glued to the pillow this morning until 8:30; (Yessssss!!!!).

Second thing, I got up, went straight to the window and it looks like a snowmagedden outside...Yippee....Snow day; uh-huh! Snow day; uh-huh, get your flakes on, get your flakes on......

Third, it's not even 9:30 yet, and the coffee is in hand, feet is propped up and the fire place is on... Ohhhhhh baby, it doesn't get toooo much better than this for a Thursday morning~

Ok, now that I have come down out of the silver lined clouds this morning... I am home all day, (working from home) - the power of this computer aged life that we all live, where the software allows for me to remote log-in to my computer at the office and I can sit here, from the comfort of my home, (in my pj's and bunny slippers ) and work on my engineering drawings, etc... Ahhh Yes!!!!

As, as you can all see my giddiness, It's snowing it's badunk-a-dunk outside and I am in snow heaven at the moment, because later on this evening, I get to go outside and play with my "Big Boy Toy"~

Glad you got your snow, I hope you had fun on your Big Boy Toy.

If I am working on my/ thru my PC in front of me and yet, at the same time, playing/ Chatting along on my Laptop to the left of me;

Does this make me a computer geek or I'm multi-tasking?!:-D

Happy Snow Day .... it's snowing pretty good here. The kids and I have a snow day today and maybe tomorrow. Its so pretty outside and just reminds me so much of Christmas so .... I have Christmas music on, pine scented tart warming and getting ready to make cookies and hot chocolate with the kids. There is a very good chance I will pop in a Christmas movie or 2 this afternoon too.

Well, we got a good solid 12 inches of snow here... I spent about 3 hours outside on the tractor....What-a-blast!!!

Good morning, almost afternoon MMC! Happy Friday Eve!! Not much going on around here today. Sun is shining & it's cold!!!

I went to see my Dad last night. One of the patients asked if the president was in dads room ~ so many visitors! cheesy (He got a kick out of that) Tonight I'm not planning on going there ~ we have stitch & *itch at my friends house! Looking forward to that - it's been awhile! Before I go there though I need to get all my steps in & tonight is the toning night of my 30 day challenge - my legs still hurt from Tuesday night! Wish me luck! cheesy

Moms cultures are all coming back negative, so hopefully she just had a little bug! Now her phlebitis (veins) is flaring up! Ahhhh! Those 2 can't catch a break lately! I'll be stopping to check in on her at lunch!

Good Thursday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

I had to turn on the A/C when I finally got home from jury selections today. It was close to 80° in the house...it's 85° outside right now. Crazy! The high is in the 40's tomorrow. Crazier!

There were only 2 cases that juries needed to be selected for, but it took over four hours. I was passed over twice. Each time the defendant lawyers asked us to tell a little about ourselves, they scribble something down when I told them I was a mayor. Then they cut me both times LOL. They must have been afraid I would side with the law.

I could have taken the rest of the day off, but there's too much work to be done around here at the plant.
