Hi friends! Busy day, busy weekend continuing! My SIL's bridal shower was today and I'm in the wedding, so I had to help with that and also got to partake in the fun festivities.

Back to work tonight I go, but I'm off tomorrow and DH will be off too, looking forward to it! He's been out of town all weekend teaching, so it's been crazy here! Hope you're all having a great weekend and are well!

I was good today, I stopped at one.

ok even though she deserves it I will not slug her, though I am hopeful Santa would forgive me for it should it become necessary in the future.
I have today off, taking mom out shopping and then plan to do some baking and cleaning up around here.

Just have to leave extra cookies out for Santa, I think that would take care of it. cheesy

Wow!!!! That is really wild looking...like candy canes and those giant lollipops all put together. And like a little Christmas psychedelic action going on....All of a sudden I feel like listening to some Jefferson Airplane - white rabbit and Bing Crosby - white Christmas!!!

No seriously, I really do like it, a lot.

You know darn well that if you put it up for auction, I'm most likely am going to bid on it.....LOL!!!!

It's supposed to look like peppermints. The designer devised the pattern so that the peppermints don't line up straight across---they're slightly rotated relative to each other. That's what makes it look psychedelic. And the method for intertwining the two colors is ingenious.

If I put it up for sale, you'll be among the first to know!

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be a decent day here with a high near 60 degree's. It looks like we may see some wind to though. Not much on my agenda for today. I need to run to walmart and pick up some more allergy meds and a few other things at some point. My niece's are with my BIL for the next week on spring break so my sister is headed to Kentucky to visit a friend. She gets lost going to the north side of indy by herself let alone driving 6 hours to Paducah. So I'll be waiting on her to call saying she's lost and asking where to go. Other than that, who knows what kind of trouble I will get myself in to. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

I hope your sister didn't get lost today driving to Kentucky.

so much for my day out, tried to start the van and it started to turn over then there was a very loud clunk and that was it, no starting after that!
My new van will not be ready for a week yet so I guess I will be walking or taking the bus this week.

Good morning!

Having my coffee and then unfortunately (for the bunnies), I am getting ready to take them to the vets...Time for the nails to be clipped and a general check-up.

I'm not entirely sure exactly what I am going to be doing today, because I am on call for work, have to take my daughter to work as well (but I am not sure what time). It's one of those, I'll just roll with the waves kind of a day....

It's a foggy, cold, damp morning here, with the temperatures trying to climb back above the freezing mark. Everything is completely covered in snow again and we had a icy night around these parts last nights on the roads. It's that time of year, where the temperatures are like a yo-yo and there is a big time battle going on between winter and spring... Although, I am seeing and hearing geese flying over and the robins are back here now, so, I would say that winter is going bye-bye....

I hope the appointment went well for the bunnies today.

Good Morning!!! Hubby was laid off unexpectedly last week, thankfully they gave him a severance package. There had been some changes going on in their corp office and other locations in terms eliminating positions and combining certain positions so I guess it was only a matter of time before the changes hit this location. He had a couple interviews this week and another one schedule next week. Hoping and praying one of these come through with an offer.

On the bright side yesterday hubby and I were doing some shopping for the kids for Easter and came across some great clearance sales. Found our son some great shirts that we are tucking away for his birthday and next Christmas and found our daughter some cute pjs that will also be tucked away until Christmas. They were all 70 to 80% off regular prices.

Well gotta get back to the laundry. Will stop back in later.

I am sorry to hear of your hubby being laid off, I hope he is able to find something quickly.

Good morning, everyone!

There was plenty of sun and relaxation, but it was still an exhausting trip. I really enjoyed my first trip to the Caribbean and dive into the Caribbean waters. Kim and my dad really enjoyed everything as well. Aside from the wind, there really isn't many complaints. The food was delicious, but we had to watch what/how much of it we ate... The usual things, really.

Despite it currently snowing, we are pretty happy to be home. On Monday, it will (hopefully) be back to work, and about three months until summer. Until then, I am excited to enjoying the brand new Spring season and countdown to our milestones.

So sorry to hear this! I hope one of the interviews comes through and leads to a job offer.

I know how you feel. That happened to Mr. last October, and he's still looking for full-time work. He's picking up temp and freelance work here and there, but it's been awfully spotty, and the severance runs out shortly, so my nerves have been awfully tight lately hoping for something steady to come along.

I hope Mr. finds something real soon.
