Christmas Countdown - 2015

I ended up doing pretty good today. I got 2 walls done, 15x40, and started on a third. I was getting tired and the hammer was getting heavier as the evening was passing by, so I called it a night at 8pm.

Surprisingly, I'm still up and awake after all that exercise today, but I think it's catching up to me now, because I'm starting to feel tired... Been a long day, a good day, but a long day... So, I will say goodnight now and I hope everyone has a pleasant night!

SIL's wedding on Saturday was nice, but it started pouring rain, sideways, about halfway through the outdoor ceremony! We were under a tent, but the wind was making it sway & I thought we were all going to be buried under the tent!



We had out-of-town family in for the wedding and a cousin & his DD spend the night with us on Saturday. Sunday morning we met at aunt's house for breakfast before they all went home. By Sunday afternoon, we were all worn out.



DH's aunt had her surgery yesterday. The doctor's were positive about it. They will know in about ten days whether or not they got all the cancer & if she'll need more treatment. They found something on her liver, probably cirrhosis. She should come home this afternoon. The next couple of weeks we'll know more.

Keeping DH's aunt in my prayers!

Good evening,



Six Flags was a blast today, we were able to go on many rides including my first time on the Bizarro roller coaster. It was an awesome, exhilarating ride. The coaster is 209ft tall, has 5400 feet of track and reaches speeds of 77 mph.

I can't wait to go on it again, I love roller coasters.

JP's best friend came with us, and he had a great time, but JP just learned tonight that his friend is moving to Florida after the school year, he is devastated by that news.



I need to get some sleep, I am very tired from the day at Six Flags.

Mom is doing pretty good, thanks~

I talked to her over my lunch, and they are managing her pain the best they can. PT is going good, too. My sister sent me a video of her walking the floor at the hospital, and I was happy to see her getting around so well, so soon.
She was supposed to be released this afternoon, fingers crossed!

Well Folks, I'm going to call it an early night on here so I can knock out a few things I need to get done. Tomorrow is going to be a weird day for me. After a few years of looking for the perfect job, I had to take what I could get. So I start at walmart tomorrow. Eventually I'll be doing overnight stock from 10pm to 7am. I have to start out on first shift though for orientation tomorrow and then a few days of training. So I have to be there at 7am tomorrow morning. Which means that I have to get up at the latest 5:30am and more likely 5am. That's normally when I'm falling asleep. Boo!!! After so many years of doing my own thing with STS though and only seeing my boss twice a year, it's going to be hard to go back to a set schedule with a boss looking over my shoulder all night long. I'll survive though. Hopefully. LOL!!!!

I'll try to check in tomorrow morning if I get up in time but if I don't, I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve!!! Chilly Friday Eve!!!! Come on spring!!!



Again, not much going on around here today! I got word that my hubby's cousins wife passed away this morning. :sad: She has been battling brain cancer! So sad! Today is their 10th wedding anniversary too! She hung on long enough to make it to 10 years! Feel so bad for them!



Our mozzarella stuffed chicken breasts were very good last night! They were FILLING! And kind of a pain to put together so not sure I'll make them again - but they were very good!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a rainy day here with a high around 50 degree's. So hopefully the store won't be to busy for my first day out on the floor. I don't want to run anyone over with a pallet. LOL!!!! I still have a few hours of computer work first though. I have a few stops that I need to make on the way in so I have to get going.
