Good morning, everyone!
It's a mostly sunny, but chilly morning in Ottawa. Temperatures are expected to climb into the mid-teens/upper 50s. The wind and rain yesterday really seemed to drive out the humidity. Yesterday was quite an easy day for me. I had the day off. I only had one job offer that peaked my interest. Initially, the offer was only for 3/4 of a day rather than a full day, so I declined. Evidently, it was later upgraded to a full day, but I wasn't offered it again. Oh well, I really enjoyed my first day off in about three weeks.
Today, I am back at Russell. All of my classes are the computer lab, so it is quite an easy day for me. Hopefully I can a call for tomorrow sometime today. I am already booked for Friday. I need at least 4 of 5 days this week!
There isn't much else happening today. I am very glad to see that the Montreal Canadiens were eliminated from the NHL playoffs last night. I don't really know who I am rooting for now. My mom is a Blackhawks fan. By association, I like it when they do well. Unfortunately, something really good might happen (for me) if the Ducks win the Cup. As a Kings fan, it's quite difficult to pull for the Ducks, but I think I have a good reason.
Well, we've reached the midweek again. We're also almost at the middle of the month for May. In fact, halfway through our next milestone, we will be exactly halfway through the trek to the Christmas Season and the month of May! Where does the time go?!
Wherever it goes, I am sure that Carl is excited for another celebration at the 'Pines tonight! Have a great Wednesday, everyone!
