Christmas Countdown - 2015

Well. I got Bill swirling around outside, so far, all bark, very little bite....Getting a good downpour right now. I got all this brush and big branches all burned up (5 trees worth) I did a marathon grass cutting outside and I finished just as a shower started. I then went down the basement, and started doing the plumbing work.

I thought I would be smart by first cutting out a section of the cold and hot water mains and install a main shut-off valve assembly on each one, I got it done, but it took longer than I thought. After I got done, which was about 8pm, I read the back of the CPVC glue can and it said the cold water will cured and hard in an hour. But, the hot water....6 hours! WHOOPS!!!! I need a shower in a bad way and when the wife get home from work in about 30 minutes, she will want to take a shower as well....

Awww man, I'm going to hear about that one...Darn it, I was trying to be pro-active and I just shot myself in the foot....

Maybe I can beg for forgiveness since tomorrows Fathers Day - think I can play that hand????

Well next, trying to decide whether or not to have the vanilla ice cream with the apple pie, the banana walnut bread or the pound cake! Decisions, decisions, decisions...

Busy day! Fun day, but busy.

Hot as you know what here! Welcome to summer (almost)!

Tomorrow night, one of our favorite shows will start. This show will lead into another, then another, and then the 25 Days of Christmas!

I'm also ready for the 4th of July. We always make our first trip of the season to Hobby Lobby. I'm anxiously awaiting some signs of Christmas!

Going to take it easy tomorrow. I start back on 1/2 days Monday, so I want to try to relax a bit. Hope to see y'all then!
