Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

We had another trip to take Elizabeth to play practice last night. Tonight is the dress rehearsal, then opening night tomorrow! Jacob's band has a gig tomorrow evening before the play starts, so I'm planning to be there for both. *crosses fingers*

Days to Christmas Day: 148

And yes, indeed.
We are now LESS THAN A WEEK AWAY from the 100-day Season Window and the beginning of a double-digit count to Christmas Season 2015.
(Really starting to press forward, now!)


The heat and humidity are returning. We have been lucky to have had several days in a row of nicer conditions. It had to end at some point.
Today has commenced at 78 degrees here in our part of the MMC Nation.

(Can we really be back already to Weekend Eve tomorrow?)

I'm working this morning, and then taking some personal time to spend with my FIL. They are not releasing him today, as we had hoped. Praying for tomorrow. And then I will probably spend some time getting the house ready for him to come home.

I also have tomorrow off, I took it to spend a long weekend at my uncle's cabin with my side of the family.

I am playing things by ear, and will stay back if there's anything they need help with in Tomah.

Yes, it's Friday Eve. I just love when you can look at the positives instead of negatives - so instead of thinking I wish it was Friday already we can simply say it's Friday Eve. Love it.

I'm still plugging away at my project here at work but I made some real progress yesterday before I left so I feel good about that and I'm going to have a repeat of that today. I'd just like to say that I hope everyone here is doing well and for those of us who are experiencing a rough time that you all are in my thoughts.

All caught up, 20+ pages behind takes a long time to get through. I did sleep well last night, woke up at 930 this morning, which is rare for me. I got the mowing done this morning and then spent the rest of the day in front of the AC.
Back to work tomorrow, so I should get to sleep.

Good morning, Snowflake! Continued prayers for your FIL, as well as you, Adrian. Sorry to hear that he's not being released today, like you had hoped. Praying that he gets released tomorrow. One of these nights I'll actually get to make that casserole! LOL! Ended up going out last night for supper & tonight my family wants to go out in convertibles to eat at BW3's where our future nephew will be playing. I might just give it to mom to make & she can give us the leftovers. HA!
