Happy Thursday!
Not too much going on here today, I need to run to Target for a few things and work on some chores around the house. I'm going to take a ride with my daughter later this afternoon, she just found out she needs scrubs by Monday. She's such a peanut, I hope she doesn't have a problem finding something that fits her. And I need to squeeze a workout in at some point too. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Good Morning my Christmas Friends!

I am feeling quite accomplished. The organization in my home is getting done! The summer was so busy with the grandkids and working my regular job that I got way behind! My daughter and son-in-law have had a few days off so the grankids have been going home after school. When they go back to work I will have them after school. Right now it's just me and the critters!

I have another Merry Podcast to listen to while getting more done today!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

The car part that I won in the Ebay auction finally arrived...and it's DOA. It was supposed to be a racing shifter that ratchets through the gears, but it's obviously very old and doesn't work properly. I sent the guy a message through Ebay. Hopefully, we can come to an agreement. Rats.

At least it's Thursday!

I'm hanging in there...only two more days! And then I'll have to try and collect the pieces of things that fell through the cracks the last two weeks...but that's okay!! It'll be okay because only two more days and the ber months start next week!!!! Glad to hear you're splitting the hours with him so that you get to see each other, but will be happy for you when it's over!

But the happy news is that we won two nights at a lovely Vermont inn! We're thinking of going in October---if the office can spare both of us, 'cause Mr. has been covering for me when I'm out---it should be beautiful then. This week, the thought of two days to just hang out in Vermont is delicious! We haven't been there before.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! Well our fall like weather stretch is coming to a close with a high of 80 predicted for today. At least we had a nice little break there and the A/C got a break. Nothing to exciting going on here today. Mom isn't feeling well again so I will be keeping an eye on her and I need to work on my grocery list for this week. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

But the happy news is that we won two nights at a lovely Vermont inn! We're thinking of going in October---if the office can spare both of us, 'cause Mr. has been covering for me when I'm out---it should be beautiful then. This week, the thought of two days to just hang out in Vermont is delicious! We haven't been there before.

Congratulations on winning the trip, MerryCarey!!!!!! I hope things slow down for you and that you can go when you want to!!!!! I bet it would be beautiful in October!!!

True! I love the personalities of cats! They have that tough exterior personality but inside they are really sweet and melt your heart.

I still miss having a cat in the house ... having a small furry friend around ... sometimes they're sweet, sometimes they're aloof, sometimes they just have that cat-titude about them.

Good evening,

I am feeling very tired tonight, I was all by my lonesome at work today, felt I was going 110 MPH all day. My dogs are really barking tonight, 3 more days until a day off.
JP and LC start school tomorrow, back to making lunches, homework and all that stuff, another milestone on the way back to Christmas. The boys are quite excited about school, but I am sure that will last a day or 2 before we get the "I don't wanna go" chants.
I did see the first Christmas themed magazine today, it was called "Holiday Crafts" It is starting to get closer!!!
I need to get some sleep, I am beat.

Good morning ... Fall and the holidays are getting closer!!! I was at the grocery store last night and the whole front of the outside was filled with mums and bagged cinnamon scented pinecones. Inside the store the seasonal isle is full of halloween candy.

Well we signed the contracts for the new house last night. Nerves and excitement are kicking into high gear. Excited for a large house but nervous about a larger mortgage payment. We have outgrown this house and do need to get a larger one but I will miss this house and our wonderful neighbors.

So exciting Minta!! But I can understand how it would be hard to move too!! I hope everything goes well & you LOVE your new home & neighbors!!! I haven't seen any mums, pumpkins or cinnamon pine cones yet. I'm sure it won't be long though. Have a great day!

Good Morning MMC !!

feels like fall in the air here too, cooler temps and drizzzle rain the last few days, even spotted a tree starting to put on its fall makeup. The potted mums have arrived at our store, will not be long before the pumpkins are out for sale too.

work was hard yesterday because my body was still on vacation mode and did not like having to work all day again. But it is good to be back and always grateful that I have a job to go to that I enjoy.

I want to get busy here at home cleaning everything before starting my fall decorating and planning my Christmas decorating!

It's hard to get back in the swing after vacation!! Good luck with your cleaning b/f decorating!!! Fun times ahead. Have a great day CS!

Morning Fall-Loving Friends! AC is off and windows are open! 1% or so of trees outside are beginning to change colors...it's wonderful and exciting. The anticipation for September is keeping me going during the busy season! I'm working hard today and tomorrow to finish up teaching music strong and then I can FINALLY settle in for a normal fall routine. It's been months since I had that with travel and other obligations. Fall for me begins Saturday, and I just can't wait. I hope you all have a great Thursday!!!!

What a disappointment! And he was selling one that doesn't work properly? What did he think, that you would frame it and hang it on your wall? I hope you can get a refund.

Still nice, albeit a bit damp yesterday, at least in the morning.
Today has dawned cloudy and at 70 degrees here.
Hopefully, a nice day will be on tap.

Morning MMC!
Fall is starting to creep in and you can feel it in the air. I went for my morning run this morning wearing a short sleeved shirt and the moment i step onto my driveway i wanted to turn back around and grab a hoodie but i know once my body starts moving i will warm up and adjust but boy it took a few minutes for that to happen. After my shower i even made myself my first cup of tea in months.
It warms up to the mid 80's by the afternoon so that's nice and we usually have a Indian summer for a week or two when the temps rise just when we think summer is gone for sure.

I'm trying to make plans for us this weekend but it seems as though i can't come up with much right now. I'm taking Lizzybeth to have her hair trimmed and i may get a manicure as a special treat for myself. I'm going to attend a church banquet Saturday for those who are interested in joining the choir. I'm not the best singer but i can carry a tune and i figured joining would be another social outlet for me. I usually don't do much outside of doing things with my girls and one of my sister's and her family. My friend/co-worker has been on me for over a year telling me I'm to young to live like a hermit so I'm trying.

Anyone making plans yet for the weekend?

It's been dipping down to about 12 (53) at night so my husband has the covers pulled up to his neck and I'm basking on top of the sheets and comforter with the window wide open and no fans. Lovely sleeping weather for me. It's supposed to warm up again next week.
I'm heading to work soon, just poppin' in for my daily dose of "MERRY".
My dad used to sing in the choir, the cancer treatments took a toll on his saliva glands so he can't hit those baritone notes anymore. Hope you enjoy it!

She is a thief - I picked tomatoes Tues night & I put them in a cooler outside & filled the cooler with water to get rid of any little black bugs before I brought them in the house. Gracie must have decided to go tomato bobbing. I had tomatoes in the driveway, in the front lawn...and Gracie had a wet face! Hmmm
I made corn on the cob & put the husks & later the cobs in a bag on the patio table to throw in the field at Moms - she got on the table & we had husks & cobs all over the back yard!
And I can't forget to mention clothes pins. She LOVES to steal them & chew on them every chance she gets! If I have the clothes pin bag on the patio table - she gets her nose right up there & I find them chewed up in the yard!.
Last night one of Jims UPS socks was laying in the middle of our tv room floor. Hmmmm!

LOL!!!!! She was just trying to help you decorate for Christmas!!! She thought the tomatoes were ornaments!!!!

I haven't gotten really excited yet. I think it won't be quite real until the time is approved and it's on the calendar as a real thing. But my mind is doing a little wandering through New England autumn scenes! Even if we do nothing but loaf there for two days, it'll be heavenly. Must take pictures!
