My go-to soft drink is Diet Pepsi. I just don't like Diet Coke. But Pepsi is quitting aspartame, so I'm concerned about how it will taste. We'll see!
Like I said - I really like Pepsi ONE which is made with Splenda - it's probably my fave (besides the real stuff - regular ol Pepsi) I hope you like it! I didn't know they were quitting aspartame altogether. And I agree - can't do Coke!

I agree! Is Autumn Jazz a station you made yourself on Pandora or can I just type that in & find some cool stuff?
You should be able to just type it in & find it.
I typed it in, and it brought up some Jazz with Autumn titles, I clicked on it & voila! "Autumn Jazz" ;)
My dear friend in Washington searched for it, and has been digging it, too.

Well, off today without wheels. Took my car "Belvedere" into the autobody shop for what I thought was just a quick look-over, change oil, etc. my husband thought there was a problem with the shocks, I thought it was just something clunking in the trunk. He was right.
Crack in the shaft on the left, ball joint on the right is out of whack, lose wire on the block heater. Plus, both front tires need replacing since they've been working so hard at trying to stay straight that the treads are worn down. This is why I have my car serviced regularly. It's going to be just over $1,200.00 to repair everything (and yes, I trust my mechanic). Good news is they say they'll have it ready for me after 4 p.m.tomorrow. That's quick for all the work they need to do and the fact that they have a few other vehicles to work on as well as mine. I'm not happy with the unexpected costs, but at least I have the funds to cover it so I can get my car back on the road quickly.
Note to self: call back and tell them what kind of tires to put on my Belvedere. The ones on there are top notch and work well on these northern roads (no snow tires).
You gotta love cars, right? At least you have the funds to cover the costs, that's a blessing!

Yes! I'm not typically too squeamish around spiders, unless they're large or potentially poisonous/toxic. With that being said, I saw the largest spider I've ever seen yesterday....and it was felt, as well-crawling on my head while I was driving on the highway :(
I had just left Ken's house, and just started driving (1/2 mile down the road) and I felt something crawling on the side of my head. I thought maybe a lady bug/beetle, etc. Nope....
I flipped out!! And screamed the most blood curdling scream I could muster up. I was doing 60 mph, so all I could do was throw my hair all about, and I could still see it getting closer to my face. I pulled over to the side of the highway, and jumped out. I must've looked like a crazed lunatic, either that or I decided to pull over to do some head banging. It was terrifying! I pulled myself together, not knowing where the spider was (under my clothes? on my back?), and pulled onto a less dangerous county road, and called Adrian to come help me. He checked my hair, car, and clothing. We couldn't find it. :confused:Talk about the longest drive home (85 miles), I kept thinking it was crawling on me. I was shaking, lol. It could still be in my car, for all I know. I did leave my windows cracked, hoping it would crawl out if so. It took up a large amount of space on the side of my head, it had long legs, thick, furry. No exaggeration. I believe it is either a fishing spider, or wolf spider.
This is what it looked like:

The above are photos of the species found in Wisconsin...I had no idea...
Holy cow!!! That must have been quite a sight, people must have thought you were headbanging. :)

Hello Everyone! So far it's been a great day. The weather is beautiful, I'm getting a lot done and the Christmas music is playing.
Yesterday, on Facebook I saw my first Christmas griping of the year. It was a meme about not liking Christmas stuff out before Halloween. I thought, "wow, already with the griping?" After much thought about the garbage on Facebook, I have SHUT IT OFF!! I uninstalled the app from my phone and I have not been on all day. This is a big accomplishment for me since I peek at FB all the time during the day. That is why I have gotten so much done today. That negative time-waster is history! :D
