That's how my mom is (low-key). Maybe that's why I turned out the same way. Enjoy your "cool" 80s.96 degrees for the high today but will drop down into the 80's by the weekend! Can't wait!
I treated my parents to lunch to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary today. I wanted to do up something really big but they are low key and preferred something simple so that's what we did! They enjoyed it!
The air conditioner is blasting and Christmas music going to cool down!

I finally caught up with her last evening.
She said she heard the murmur when doing an exam, and that it's hard to tell much more about it from that. I informed her that another vet had mentioned it as well, when Har was a puppy-in Vegas. But we had not heard it mentioned since that, so we had hoped she outgrew it. She told me some symptoms to look out for, if it progresses. And that they don't typically treat it with medications until heart failure begins.
It is all very upsetting to me.
She sent me more information, that I'll print & read today. Hopefully being educated about it will empower me, not just scare me even more.

Beef Stew....Mmmmmmm, sounds good! Perfect time of year for it... Time to get a loaf of bread out and the container of butter; need that to mop up the bowl~
Going through and putting things in boxes to take to the thrift store! If we haven't used it in our first year of marriage, we don't need it taking up space in our already small apartment! Listening to a podcast and then some Christmas music later is the plan. The video streaming service I usually use is down, so I definitely will make use of the time otherwise! I really need to spend less time doing that right now-holidays movies are about to take up a lot of my time!
I do the same thing, if something hasn't been used or worn in the past year it usually goes. I need do that soon!
