Good afternoon, everyone!
We have reached double digits in December! And I am not only talking about the fact that today is December 10th. The sun is shining in Canada's Capital and we are at a record high of 13c/55f! Wow! It is, indeed, shorts and t-shirt weather in December. As for the next few days, it should not get into double digits, but at least it will be quite above seasonal. Actually, temperatures are to remain above freezing for nearly the next wee. How are we suppose to have our Christmas celebrations in this HEAT?!?
I've had a fun day thus far. I'm "teaching" the French classes at Russell. Everyone here knows that I don't speak French, so it's quite fun. I'm helping as much as I can though. I have one more class and then it will be my weekend.
It should be a busy weekend. As I mentioned, we have our annual Christmas Sweater/Fondue/Gift Exchange/Drinking/Trivia/Celebration party tomorrow night. It's always one my favourite nights of the year! I completed the Music Trivia game about two months ago. I am very excited to see people struggle to find the answers!
Tonight, Kim and I are hopefully finishing our Christmas shopping. I have one more thing to purchase for my mom, dad, brother, and Kim. I guess I've only finished shopping for my mom's husband. Oops. At least I know what to get my mom and dad...
Well, I should get back to doing some teaching things. My next class begins at 2:20. I hope you're all having a wonderful Friday... and doing something extra special to celebrate this Christmas Season.
Merry Christmas!
