Christmas Countdown - 2016

This is how I'm starting to feel with the chilly weather we have been having lately! I'm getting tired of long pants & sweat shirts...

Good morning, everyone!

My half day at Russell turned into a full day, as I had expected. Hooray! I am currently coaching a team here. We had practice at 7:30am. I was only scheduled to work this afternoon until a teacher called in sick this morning. It all worked out perfectly for me as I was going to be here for the entire morning anyway... I'm now much happier since I am getting paid! Oh, and having the same classes as Friday is pretty awesome, too. Great students!

It's a beautiful Spring morning in Ottawa. Temperatures are nearing double digits/50s. We're to reach a high of 16c/61f, which is about seasonal. Tonight appears to be comfortable as well. I have a practice tonight, so hopefully I will be able to wear short sleeves there for the first time this year...

Well, there is not a whole lot else happening today. I guess it is a typical Tuesday. Have a great day, everyone!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had to leave a little early and take Jacob to the doctor's office to get his immunization records for college. On the way home, it stormed terribly. The trees were leaning in the wind and the rain was coming down in thick sheets. Just as we were coming up on Bellville, lightning struck a telephone pole in front of us! Sparks flew and a wire fell from the pole. Awesome! LOL

Then I had to get back in the car to take Elizabeth to dance. Luckily, the storm had mostly passed over by then. I hope today is a little less eventful.

[Festive Spirit]

This is exactly what we want (minus the church). We would much rather spend the money on our first house. Houses in Ottawa keep increasing in price. There is no way that we can afford to put on a wedding that is about $17,000-20,000 and then comfortably live and purchase a house shortly after. We'll see how it goes.

I'm heading out soon, I have to run a few errands. My middle one decided she wants to go back to school, she has an appointment tomorrow at a local college. She's been busy working every day so I'm going to pick up her immunization records for her. I also have to pick up her transcript at the high school. And I'm going to stop at the supermarket afterward to do some food shopping. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores. That's about it for me. Doctors visit went well, just a bunch of routine appointment that I would have to use vacation time for when I start my new shift. Friday is my very last afternoon shift! Counting down the days!
