I'm okay thank you. I am exhausted! We have been busy with things around the house today. Hopefully we can wrap up in a couple hours and have a quiet evening. Oh you have reminded me about the DVD!!! I'll pop it in later. Can't believe it's taking me this long LOL

Harper is doing wonderful. She is about ready to have her second dance recital this month and she heard that they are starting auditions next month for Nutcracker. The other day she got to take a picture with this X-Wing that was down the street from us. Not sure what she was doing in the pose though lol.

I saw the sun (I thought) when I got up and went out and it was drizzling again. Geez! But it's not all bad. At least we have not rushed into the heat and humidity this year. I'm sure we will have plenty of that in June, July and August. I am enjoying my french toast for breakfast and then I will head out to run and do some errands.

Just a quick hello. I am covered in paint. Repainting the kitchen an regretting it somewhat I am exhausted! Hopefully we can wrap up soon and enjoy a quiet evening. Work tomorrow. Ugh not enough down time .

It wasn't too awful, because the dentist works gently, and her assistant has a great sense of humor!
After the crown goes in, it's going to feel odd to have a tooth back there, now that I've gotten used to the feel of it being missing! But it'll be wonderful to have all the work (and the expense) behind me.

We just got through talking with the phone company, and they're sending a technician out tomorrow (yes, on a Sunday!) to check things out. Customer Service flipped us to the fiber-optic department with an order number, but because we have copper wiring, they flipped us to another department ... so maybe we won't be converted after all? I guess it depends on where the problem is---if it's outside wiring, I suspect they'll convert us. Never mind, I'm just happy that someone will be here so quickly, in spite of the strike.

Another whoa ... a record player! Wonderful! I've read that more people are getting back into collecting music on vinyl. (We never stopped! We have a turntable upstairs plus one in the basement, where our lifetimes' accumulation of vinyl is shelved.) And there are plenty of wonderful old Christmas LPs out there.
