It's been a long couple of days, but Jacob is finally registered for college! It's crazy to think, but here it is. They had a two-day orientation & registration plan, for both kids and parents. I have to say, I was impressed with their willingness to let parents participate. When I was there, we were thrown to the wolves. LOL

Anyway, I'm finally back at work, playing catch-up again.

I just got in from food shopping. We're expecting thunderstorms today, I didn't want to get caught in the rain with all of those groceries so I decided to go early. Just having a quick bite to eat and a cup of coffee before I start working on some chores around the house. I have a few phone calls to make and I may run a couple quick local errands this afternoon if the weather isn't too bad. Dinner will be fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy and a big tossed salad. I was really hoping to get it over with but some things just weren't in place. Oh well, such is life. It will happen in the near future so at least I know I won't be dealing with this at Christmas.

My Tivo and I are pumped and ready for this years Christmas in July Movies...I oughta keep a journal of what I have seen and not seen cause I always end up with half an hour wasted watching a movie that I suddenly realize I have seen already...And mostly I watch the QVC shows at double or triple speed and stop when something looks interesting or funny...The hosts...Man are they over the top!!!
