Yeah it's one of those years where you get weeds instead of grass.

Got home and my neighbor had mowed my weeds..lol.
Then I remembered I had told him I would help them put away their mammoth Balsam Hill tree for their July 4th family get together.

Happy Tuesday and a Happy Birthday to Harlowe! My big project got pushed back for a couple of weeks which has made things rough. I was really hoping to get it over with but some things just weren't in place. Oh well, such is life. It will happen in the near future so at least I know I won't be dealing with this at Christmas.

June is coming to a close. How about that? Seeing that count down to the 170s tomorrow will be quite a welcomed sight!

I've been absent again. Sorry about that. I started working at Passport Canada against last Monday. At Passport, we don't really have any internet access. And, as I mentioned in previous years, we only have scheduled 15-minute breaks. It's not a great job in terms of freedom, but it pays the bills.

How am I positing today? Well, I'm actually back at Russell for the final two days of the school year. It should be an easy two days in grades 7/8. Right now, the students are watching Back To The Future. Awesome.

Morning all!! Just got done work for the week,wont be back until after the 4th !! Might mow my weeds (lawn..but its so dry only weeds are growing) then its off to the local butcher shop and snack supply house. Got a original Star Trek festival planned

Good morning everyone, Happy Tuesday!
I just got in from food shopping. We're expecting thunderstorms today, I didn't want to get caught in the rain with all of those groceries so I decided to go early. Just having a quick bite to eat and a cup of coffee before I start working on some chores around the house. I have a few phone calls to make and I may run a couple quick local errands this afternoon if the weather isn't too bad. Dinner will be fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy and a big tossed salad. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Well so far the heat/humidity had been bearable with the exception of last night and today. Not hot just very very HUMID and MUGGY. YUCK! Could be the reason I dreamt of snow last night LOL.
