back home again with everyone, was a great weekend and very relaxing.
Back to work tomorrow after the long weekend, but only a 4 hour shift so not to bad.

I WILL be thinking of you. It is bittersweet that you have to work, but what you will be doing tomorrow... I can't think of a more appropriate way to celebrate the Fourth than with those the Greatest Generation who fought abroad to help safeguard our freedom at home. Please give them my heartfelt thanks.

Evening everyone, just back from a few weeks holidays and I have so much catching up to do here it's crazy. Hope everyone is well and had a great weekend. I've missed it here, but I decided to cut back on the onscreen time when I was away.

Well, Mr. DYH got called 4 times in the first 4 hours of his shift, so he's spending the night in hospital. I'm about to curl up with a good book and get ready for my shift tomorrow. I hope you all have a wonderful evening and a full night's sleep. And for those of you USAers off tomorrow for the 4th, Happy Independence Day! Enjoy a safe and happy one!

Happy Sunday MMC...I hope everyone is having a good long weekend. I am sorry I have not been around, my Dad was admitted to the hospital yesterday. For the past few weeks he has been telling me he is having shortness of breath. He went to his Dr and they gave him some antibiotics and he felt a bit better. He called me yesterday morning @6am and said he didn't feel right and was going to the hospital around 7. And they did some bloodwork and found out he is serverely anemic. He needed a few blood transfusions and he is feeling so much better. They did an upper gi scope to see if they can find the cause of bleeding but the GI dr did not see anything so tomorrow morning @8am they are going to do a colonoscopy. I am praying whatever they find is a quick fix and nothing more serious. Sorry this is so long but I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! I will check in with you all later.
