Good morning ~
Happy Thursday!
It's going to be another warm and humid day, we're expecting thunderstorms later this afternoon. Not too much going on here. My husband wants to work on the gazebo for a couple of hours. This project is taking much longer to finish than he said it would. That's alright though, I'm sure it will be worth it when its finished. I think I'm going to do some shopping this afternoon, my daughter has a birthday coming up. I'm also going to stop at my butcher, there was a fire in the store a year ago and he finally re-opened. I can't wait to see the new store. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
Oh, I bet you are so happy your butcher is opening his store again!! Hope it's as good or better than the last!! Good luck finding a gift today! Enjoy your day! I'm also glad to hear Maggie is hanging in there in the heat! xx

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve! It's hot out already! I came home from my daily run soaked in sweat (you're welcome for the nice image). But this time of year I often say if you go running at 6AM you're still gonna come home all sweated as if you ran in the middle of the day. It's definitely hardcore summer time weather out there. Oh well I did say I didn't like the cold and snow in the winter so I can't complain about the heat now. I'd still take this weather over the brutal cold of January. But I won't mind if it cools off eventually at least a little bit.
Have a great Thursday aka Friday Eve everyone!!!
In our 15 day forecast, today is 90, 89 tomorrow, then Saturday 78! Sunday is 83, Monday 86 but after that there is nothing in the forecast below 88! Whew! I guess that's what they call the dog days! Have a great day Edge!

Good Morning.

Hey! ONE WEEK TO GO.
(Details to follow after the daily count.)

Days to the Season: 129
Days to Christmas Day: 171

Yes, Folks. Time is passing away and we find ourselves precisely one, lone week away from the TWO-THIRDS mark to Christmas Season 2016, hard though that may be to believe.
(And as you can also see, we are getting mighty close to a DOUBLE DIGITS Season count, as well. WOW!!)

More rain yesterday afternoon, but it didn't amount to much and there was no lightning or thunder. No severe weather watches or warning either, always good news!
Our thermometer reads 76 degrees here this morning and we are hopeful for a dry day.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Friends.
(Almost Weekend Eve once again --- also hard to believe!)
Could you send us a little of that rain? I don't want the storms, but a little rain would be nice. Thanks! ;)
Have a great day crown!

Good morning MMC....merry Friday Eve. Just work today and trying to stay cool. I am also going to try to get a workout in today. Going to be another hot and humid day but they are saying some afternoon/evening storms...we'll see. Hope everyone enjoys their day!
Stay safe in the storms!! Have a great day SFM!

I've DVR'd enough Hallmark Christmas movies this week to get me through the rest of 2016! I've watched a few and deleted them. I don't want to fill up the DVR because we all have so many other shows we record weekly. November Christmas has been my favorite so far!

No more planned vacation for us until Labor Day weekend. I hate for school to start on August 8 (DD will move up a school, into 6th grade), but I look forward to Labor Day weekend and the beginning of "the -bers".

Hopefully we are nearing completion of our home addition. Walls are being painted and flooring installed. DH & I are sleeping on our bed in the living room & DD is sleeping next to us on the couch. All of our bedroom furniture is crammed into the living & dining room. It's kind of like camping at home! The sheet rock dust almost did us in, but that part is over. However, we'll probably be cleaning the dust off of/out of things for months.

Hallmark ornament premier on Saturday & I'll be at the closest Hallmark store. They open at 7:00 a.m., but I don't know if I'll get there that early. It's a 45 minute drive to get there. They have our wish list ornaments packed up and ready for us, but there is a limited edition Star Trek ornament that I need to get for DH so I want to get there early. I will also pick up the ornaments that Mom gets for the granddaughters. She kept all four of them yesterday and they picked out what they wanted.

It's a cool, rainy day here after weeks of 90+ temps and no rain. I'm burning a "winter" candle and listening to classic Christmas music today. I'm in the mood!

Happy Thursday MMC! I hope you're all doing well. Still waiting to get a new date for this crazy project we have that was placed on hold. Someone suggested October and I was like, uh uh! No one is messing up my holiday ramp up! These fools better stick to the summer time frame. :p
Oh no!! Don't mess with the holiday ramp up!! Here's hoping they stay in the summer time frame! xx

Same for us yesterday. It was too darn hot in the house to eat a hot meal, so we just whipped up some tuna salad sandwiches and ate them with potato chips! It'll probably be cold cuts tonight, because today will be another hot one.
Sounds like a great plan. We will probably have ham & cheese again....or ice cream! Hubby is never very hungry after working out in the heat all day....he loves a blizzard for supper. LOL

Thanks! We were ready to do this two weeks ago, just waiting on a data migration. Not sure where they got October from. Weirdos! If I miss one cider mill or pumpkin spice beer I am haunting them forever!

I love the thought of Christmas music & a winter candle! :)
Sounds like your addition is moving right along! Many people recommended having our duct work cleaned after our remodel. We planned on it, but never did. We should have! Dust, dust, dust - every time the heat or A/C kicked in! Something to think about! I'm sure camping at home is fun, but I bet your all ready to get into your bedrooms!
Enjoy the movies on DVR!
Hope you find all the ornaments you are wanting!
Have a great day!

Hot outside today and its been looking stormy all day. So far no rain...washed the truck in the back yard so the grass could have a quick drink..lol.
Ha! Good idea! I'm sure the grass appreciated it! :p

Hii Christmas friends...Just popping in to say hiii and that i am missing you guys-gift-
Hello prancer! We miss you too! Hope you are having a good day!!! xx Thinking of you! Prayers!

:p Cheers to that!! Fingers crossed!

Hello everyone.
We got a lot done in and around the house yesterday. My wife is still working on painting in the living room, and I went out and finished a nasty weed/spider infested corner of the yard.
I still need to head to Lowe's and finish up a small area in the front yard.
Then, of course, we have to move the furniture back into place and put shelves back up and all of that. I am sure that will go into tomorrow. I am also sure that my wife will be wanting to head out and buy a new couch to go with the new wall colors. That will probably be this weekend, and something tells me we will end up at IKEA.;)

To make the outside work tolerable, I have been listening to Christmas music nonstop.:locotree
