The long flight is harder to take on the way home than it is going to Hawaii, for obvious reasons!
I hope you'll enjoy your trip. In some ways, Hawaii is more of an experience than a place.

Michelle and have been married 24 years now and she said I had to take her there by our 30th anniversary. I've got just under 6 years to figure out how.

My guys used to butter me up with candy canes when it come time for qualifications. I wouldn't use transport..make em walk, of course I was with em the whole time. So once they only came up with 1 cane and I thought it funny..so...we used transport to the rifle range. Spent all day in the baking NC sun and we walked back. Lol!! I told em they only had enough candy canes for transport 1 way. Of course the lesson being.."Always make sure you have resources left for the end of the day".

I don't have to worry about that. Nancy refuses to fly at all. But she says she wants to visit Alaska.

Always have too much than too little when it comes to important things like candy canes!

I found out yesterday my hubby & I are going to Hawaii in February! I didn't know anything about it! We will be going with my mother/father in-law, as well as my sil & bil. (Jims sister & her hubby) I don't even know when or where or how long we are going (yet) but I have to call my MIL at lunch & I'm sure she will fill me in! I was surprised yesterday when she texted asking for my name exactly as it appears on my passport! I thought Jims other sister & hubby were going this time, but I guess not. It's a promotional trip through my FIL's feed business. It's very exciting...I miss Gracie already!

That is such great news! My brother went a couple of years ago and he loved it. You have plenty of time to find things to do during that long flight.
