Mister Festive is still not well but at least he can rest up this weekend and stay out of the freezing temps. Thank you for asking.

I hope Harlowe's stomach is better today. Poor thing.

Thank you, I hope she can feel better soon. I managed to get her to take a probiotic last night, after hours of trying. We are going to venture out soon, we won't be able to stay out very long. Fingers crossed.

Good morning everyone!
Merry Saturday!
Hoping and praying that all of my online friends and their furbabies are well this morning. My husband ended up getting very sick last night, not sure if it's a virus or something else going on. The poor thing had to be at a job in the city early this morning. He had to take care of a couple of things and couldn't get out of it. Hopefully he'll be home early this afternoon so he can rest. We are supposed to go to an Islander game tomorrow, I gave him a pair of tickets as part of his Christmas gift. Hope he's well enough to go. Not too much going on for me today. The girls all have to work so I'm going to start breakfast soon. I'm going food shopping after everyone is up and out. Other than that I'll be working on some chores around the house and I'm going to make a pot of chicken soup for my husband. That's about it for me. Hope everyone has a nice day ♥

Prays for your husband HMG. I hope he copes through his work today, gets home safely and recovers before the game tomorrow.

Penny is feeling better and had had her meds a bit of food and drinking water. She how ever hates the cone she has to wear. I am also getting that look of "what did I do to deserve this ?"

Hope her recovery is smooth and quick.

Its a dreary Saturday. Temp got into the high 40's and melted all of our snow and now its raining. Middle of Jan. ---sigh On a up note the UPS man delivered this years fresh supply of Icicyle lights

I hope you at least got to enjoy the snow while it lasted. Good news about the lights arriving. I love making plans for next season . It really keeps the spirit going!

Good Saturday Morning MMC! Well I'm up early and ready for work...well in my jeans and sneakers. Not going to even dress up a little on a Saturday. I'll work only till noon so I will have most of the day off still. Won't be bad and they're bringing us in breakfast. I ordered French toast and sausage. Not a bad Saturday morning. It's raining here this morning anyway so when I go for my run this afternoon it should be cleared up. Timing sometimes works out. I'm glad it's the weekend. 15 days of January down and 15 ahead of us so today is the middle day of the month. Unbelievable huh?

My daughter has a 9am basketball game so I am going to get her ready for that and then we are relaxing hopefully for the rest of the day. We may get together with some friends tonight and have dinner and a couple glasses of wine. Enjoy the day and I will chat with the you all later!

Today is my son Henry's birthday, he is 7 today. No huge plans. He wants to help bake his own cake, in the form of a minecraft block. My wife will help him with that, she is the artistic one. I can bake a cake, but it would just be a cake. lol
Grandma and Grandpa are coming over this afternoon and going out to dinner with us. Then, this evening we are going to a place called Scene 75. It is part restaurant, part arcade. Kind of like Chuck-E-Cheese, but with a lot more games. Should be a fun day. Plus, once he opens his gifts, we can fight with nurf lightsabers!

Another weekend -- another count number delivery, free of charge.

Days to Christmas Day: 344

And it may take some suspension of disbelief to accept the fact that as of THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, we will be arriving at the 300-day Season Milestone marker and the start of the first of our 200's level count numbers.
(Can we really be moving along this fast??)


Reasonably warm for January yesterday but sure enough, it came with rain.
Hopefully, today will be drier. The REALLY cold weather should hold off until next week.
Right now, we are commencing the day here in central NC at 46 sunny degrees.

Spent so many years in Jacksonville I forget how the winters are there. Wont be long until crab season, strawberry festivals etc... Cant say I miss I 95 driving though.
