Penny is eating well but so very annoyed about having to wear that cone. Tried her with it off for awhile so she could eat better and she started to lick her wound so it had to go back on. I keep trying to tell her it is only for a week, but I keep getting that "look" from her.

Glad she is eating well!
Those darn cones. I feel for her, and you-but understand why she needs it. Hope this week goes quickly & comfortably for her.

Out of the teams left I am pulling for the Cardinals, all I know is I will not be cheering for an AFC team.

I cannot stand the Patriots at all, I am not a fan of the Broncos. Arizona and Carolina have never won the SB, so I will pull for one of them with Arizona being the older team that hasn't won, so that is the tiebreaker for me.
 
Good evening,

A good day off, we went to Friendly's for breakfast before heading to Barnes & Noble. I didn't find anything I wanted today, but just love to walk around there.
I did make a visit to Hallmark, and picked up 3 ornaments at 75% off. They had a ton of leftover ornaments.
I picked up:
Transformers-Megatron (gotta get my 80's toy memories for my tree)

So a good day in finding stuff. I am just waiting for the 90% off sale to pick up others.
Watching the new show on TBS named Angie Tribeca, it is quite funny in the stupid funny way, think Airplane, The Naked Gun.
Back to work in the a.m. No long weekend here, the public needs me. :p

Good evening, MMC!! Had a busy day today starting with being Installed as a staff member at church (for Multimedia and Sound Engineer) so I was at church for 2 services for that and because we have become a new church, I am on an Organization For Misson Steering Team as we try and get a feel for how the congregation is feeling about the church and where they would like to see it go and grow, so I had to talk about a survey we launched today to get that info. We are working with a consulting group that is helping us gather and interpret the info. Then after that we came home and clean the house up a bit (took some decorations down) and then I met up with two other congregation members and we moved the last of my old churches multimedia and worship technology equipment out of our old building (which is now owned by the local Boys & Girls Club) to our temporary building. Then I watched the Broncos game (the 2nd half at least) and then got supper and picked up my daughter from her mother's. Then watched my Flyers beat the Red Wings in a shootout!! :jump

Thanks for all the concern about my calf. It's still sore, but much better than yesterday. Didn't get a chance to ice it, but I had a heating pad on it last night and will do so again tonight. And no Merry, it's not from crossing everything! I'm still doing it, hoping and praying for good news for Mr!

Snowflake, I'm glad to hear you're starting to feel better! Keep resting, my friend!

I'm glad all our friends in Florida are safe and praying for those there that have been affected by the tornadoes.

For those with the day off tomorrow, enjoy your 3 day weekend (I know I will) and for those that have to work, I hope your day goes smoothly for you.

And for those friends across the pond, I hope the weather is shaping up better for you guys and that your day goes as planned or in your favor if not as planned!
