Same here...it's Monday and it's cold but it's a milestone day AND my tree made it through the weekend up...and will be up all week. That should carry me through this week .

Awesome that your tree is still up!!! YAY!!! So nice to come home on a cold day & turn the tree on. Actually, I think I left mine on this morning. Gracie can enjoy it!

Are there fireflies in the Nevada region? Around Las Vegas?
Google says you won't find them outside of Kansas but I am curious to hear from someone who lived there.
Is it possible?

Heck ya. I think that I'm going to try to keep my tree up most of January each year going forward. It's helping me through the January doldrums.

Happy Milestone Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

We had a good weekend. I worked all day Saturday on my side business, but Lulu rode with me everywhere I went, so we had a good time.

I mentioned that a very nice older lady in our church fainted and fell after the service yesterday. Our preacher visited her later that afternoon and said she was good, aside from a little embarrassment. Bless her heart.

It's sunny and cold this morning, but it's going to freeze tonight!

I don't know about Nevada, but they're pretty common here in Georgia. They used to be everywhere around here when I was a kid, but pesticide use has pretty much decimated them.

I see them every summer night when I'm in the North Carolina mountains.

Went for a run and halfway through my run I felt a pop in my right calf and had to stop running. Now my calf is really sore and I cannot walk without a limp. Going to try icing it and then a heating pad at night. I'm working my double header right now at the radio station so I'll be off of it for a while. Very frustrating to have this injury. I'm hoping that I can recoup enough so I can continue to run. Gotta start training soon for a half marathon in May.

Hope your calf is healing quickly!!!

Well, winter is surely here, and if yesterday's snow flurries didn't confirm it, this morning's temperature reading of 28 degrees and this afternoon's predicted high of 34 does.
But no matter. The Panther victory yesterday has provided all the warmth my heart needs (at least until next Sunday).
