Light to moderate snow accumulations are possible Tuesday and Wednesday from the northern and central Plains to the mid-Mississippi Valley, Ohio Valley and central Appalachians from an initial weather system.

After that, a potentially more significant winter storm may take shape Thursday through next weekend. This could deliver a more high-impact snowfall to parts of the East. Depending on the track, instensity and duration of the storm, we could also see coastal flooding and strong, gusty winds. With a full moon this weekend tides will already be running high, which could worsen the impacts should any coastal flooding occur.

Merry Monday,
Hope everyone is rested and ready for the week ahead.
We have warmed up to a tolerable 3C today. Mr F has gone to work because he has so much to do but I am doubtful he will last the day as he is still struggling. My youngest will be going back to nursery today after being off ill too. I have work to do so hoping for a productive day.
Don't let the Monday blues get you down. It's a big day today as I am sure Crown will announce shortly! (At least I think I have that right).

Re: the fire fly's - we have many of them here in Ohio. Love watching them. This past summer was a good year for them. We had them for a long season!!

Good afternoon!
Been sleeping after the kids went to school.
Have a little fever...
But I have to drive T to work soon, and do some grocery shopping
before heading home to make dinner.
And then drive Isak to Birthday. Pick up my daughter from the gym,
and tonight pick up T again at the airport.
So who have time to be sick? Not me...

I'm a little bit anxious about driving.
I fell off a horse Thursday night. She fell (in her own feet) and I flew off...
Hiiiha...
I didn't hurt myself I thought, and got up at the horse again
But the same evening my knee got worse and worse
And I haven't been able to walk properly on the foot...
Well, I do walk on the foot now, but I have to keep my knee still
so it looks kinda strange ...
And therefore I am a bit anxious to drive...
And in this weather.. We finally got snow, lots of it..
It almoust dangerous to drive outside..

Good Monday Morning MMC! Happy MLK Day! I work though since my job does not close for these type of holidays. It's ok though. I am looking forward to Crown's special post today. Also I am looking forward to the fact that this is sort of the first holiday since New Years and each time we reach another one we're closer and closer back to OUR time of year. They are talking still about a possible storm in the northeast next weekend. We will see though. These things go back and forth all the time. But if it's gonna snow let it do so on a Saturday when I can stay home. I'd be fine with that. We'll see as the week progresses what they say about this potential storm.
I hope you all have a great Martin Luther King Day whether you are working like I am or lucky enough to have the day off...just remember his words because he was a very wise man and unfortunately in 2015 there's still many people around who need to be reminded of what he said and what he stood for because in today's world we still see way too much hatred vs. color, religion, and people for no reason. It's sad. Have a great day!

Well, winter is surely here, and if yesterday's snow flurries didn't confirm it, this morning's temperature reading of 28 degrees and this afternoon's predicted high of 34 does.
But no matter. The Panther victory yesterday has provided all the warmth my heart needs (at least until next Sunday).

Happy Monday all!! Fresh snow is on the ground for 300 day. Fresh turkey dinner will be in the oven this afternoon (we get alot from employer..turkeys) Panthers won yesterday. And the coffee is hot.

Happy Milestone Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

We had a good weekend. I worked all day Saturday on my side business, but Lulu rode with me everywhere I went, so we had a good time.

I mentioned that a very nice older lady in our church fainted and fell after the service yesterday. Our preacher visited her later that afternoon and said she was good, aside from a little embarrassment. Bless her heart.

It's sunny and cold this morning, but it's going to freeze tonight!

Glad to hear the lady from your church is ok! At the engagement party Saturday night the bride to be's Grandpa went down! One minute he was sitting on a bar stool, the next minute he was on the ground. They called the squad, but apparently this happens more often - he has A-fib....and he is fine also! Scary though!
