Good afternoon everyone, Happy Tuesday ~
Been a busy day for me so far. My daughter had a dermatologist appointment earlier, we got hung up there for awhile. I had to run a few errands and do some food shopping afterward. I'm just working on the laundry now and treating myself to a cup of pumpkin spice coffee before I start dinner. Hope everyone's day is going well!

I've gotten in the habit of assembling mine and putting the lights on the day before Thanksgiving. Then I decorate it the following weekend. That way I can enjoy the lights during Thanksgiving, and look forward to decorating it! Maybe you can sneak yours in that way. "The lights would be so pretty for Thanksgiving!"

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

I had a slow evening yesterday afternoon, and I enjoyed it. Elizabeth cooked a wonderful supper, but used every.pot.and.pan.in.the.house. LOL When we finished supper, she had to study, and Nancy was working on laundry, so the kitchen was mine. Whew!

Like Crown, we're in the "cone of uncertainty" concerning Hurricane Matthew, and we're hoping it turns away, but if not, it'll be here Friday and Saturday. I wanted to go fishing Saturday, doggone it! I know the anchor won't hold up to 140MPH winds, but maybe if I tie off to a tree in the pond, too? Hmm.

Thanks - so far, so good! Ready for lunch! I have a pot roast in the crock pot for supper - can't wait to go home & smell it! LOL!

having a customer come over to do a workup on a wedding cake, and she is late so thought I would come and chat for a bit. I also still have to finish a pan of chicken soup and some biscuits to go with it for a sick neighbour.
ok took that over and she loved it, hopefully gets better soon.
cake planning went well and customer is happy

now I can have supper and relax too

Good Morning MMC! Just in to check in and dash-life has been very busy! My cat is at the vet with a kidney infection but he is responding to treatment so that's good. Work is stressful and I'm pretty tired, so I'm taking good care of myself as best I can! I hope you all are well and are having a good week so far. It's Pines Eve already! Thank you! I was embarrassed! When it happened I asked the pharmacist for a band aid. Thought for sure that's all I needed. Unfortunately urgent care just stitched it, they did not splint it so I had to buy a splint because of Carolina

There are 2 different bus trips to NYC from my town that day, just weighing the pros and cons of each. I talked to my boss today about possibly getting that day off, and it looks good as of now. It is so hard to get a Saturday off in December before Christmas.
