Have been hearing lots about a storm for all you folks on the east coast. I was a bit confused when I looked at the radar until the weather guy explained it...and then said it was inconsistent, but not sure what he meant by that. Anyway, hope you all stay warm and safe and build many snowmen !

Work today I think, I feel like I am coming down with something thanks to a co worker and drowning it is not working, just making me run to the bathroom more often. So trying to decide if it would be better to stay home today or just suck it up and go anyway.

Good Morning, Folks.

Tomorrow is Weekend Eve.
But today sees us another step closer to Christmas.......
and to our next Milestone!

Days to the Season: 297
Days to Christmas Day: 339

Our second Milestone Marker of 2016 looms just over 3 weeks ahead.
Three weeks from tomorrow, in fact.
And it's the ONE QUARTER MARK to Christmas Season 2016!
(Incredible though that may be to believe.)


Very cold yesterday with evening snow flurries. Perhaps a more serious snowfall is pending for tomorrow and Saturday. Stay tuned.
For now, we have commenced this sunny but chilly day before Weekend Eve at 30 degrees here in the capital city.

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's a bit warmer today, and overcast. We're at 100% change of rain tomorrow. I don't always mind that, but the kids are going on a school trip to Atlanta, and it worries us to death for them to be on the road in bad weather. We'll just have to say a prayer and leave it to the Lord.

The stack of work on my desk keeps growing, so I better get back to it.

Good Thursday Morning MMC! I am a little later today as I was running behind schedule this morning. Here I am at work and thinking it's pretty cool that it's 1 day away from our favorite week day of the year. The big talked about storm still sounds like the worst will go to our south. But our local guy is still hedging his bet so he's calling for 4-7 inches for my area. That could go down to nothing or up to a foot. I think we're right on the line of missing it completely or it hitting us hard if it comes a little further north than they are expecting. Anyway, just a busy day at work that will get us to FRIDAY soon.

The locals are not saying anything, weather.com is saying less than an inch, and accuweather is saying 3-6 inches.

Eliot Abrams (Accuweather/WBZ) this morning is saying 1 to 3 inches, with a warning that that will change if the storm track changes. My old home town is in the 1-foot-to-2-feet range.

They have issued a Blizzard watch for Long Island. They're still predicting 6 to 12 inches here but obviously the storm track is still in question. We'll see what happens!
