It's my Birthday and it's the only day I don't wake up the kids
Because they are all coming to me, singing, bringing cake (with exploding lights), coffee, and gifts
And I love to have them all up in my bed. My favorite morning of the year ❤
T is taking me out for dinner tonight, just the two of us. Looking forward to that

Eliot Abrams (Accuweather/WBZ) this morning is saying 1 to 3 inches, with a warning that that will change if the storm track changes. My old home town is in the 1-foot-to-2-feet range.

I remember when we got hit I believe it was the 1996 Blizzard all the way up until Saturday evening they were saying it would be a near miss for my area. I came home that night less than 24 hours till the storm would begin and they said 1-2 feet. Something changed obviously. Another time I went to bed and they said we would get an inch of snow and I woke up to about a foot of snow and the weatherman said something changed. We shall see...unpredictable storms!

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve!!! The tree's provided gorgeous scenery for my (short) drive to work this morning. They were beautiful. Snow covered & frozen!

One of my best friends is having knee surgery today to fix a torn meniscus. I know she is very worried about it. It could be a 15 minute procedure w/ 4 small incisions, or they may get in there & realize they need to lay her knee open. Praying for the 15 minute procedure! She was my walking buddy for a long time. She has messed around with this knee for a looong time, so I'm hoping this makes her knee good as new! I miss my walking buddy!

They have issued a Blizzard watch for Long Island. They're still predicting 6 to 12 inches here but obviously the storm track is still in question. We'll see what happens!

Oh yikes! Stay safe out there! You are getting more unexpected snow this year, it seems!

We didn't get anymore snow since yesterday afternoon, but what was in the trees was really frozen this morning & was just gorgeous. Our roads are clear. I could go for some snow this weekend!

Thanks for the thoughts & prayers for my friend!! Her surgery is scheduled for 1:30 (3 hours from now) They were planning to be leaving their house right about now. I feel for her!
