What? Where are you situated? Hope it doesn't stick long. Not a fan of snow before Halloween.

Mid-Michigan. It didn't stick around here, but 8 miles away, there was a half inch of accumulation. What fell here frosted the trees and ground for a bit, turned to sleet which made the trees/bushes sparkle, and by night, turned to all rain. Today it is going to be in the 70's.

hey my friends, how was Your halloween?
Kandice was dressed as a Gryffindor pupil (Harry Potter´s house in the wizcard school Hogwarts) and we went to my dear friend Marina´s place, who hosted a little Halloween party with games, nice food (cupcakes and later on homemade pizza and soup) and then trick or treating).....we watched the 4th. part of Halloweentown when we got home.....it was a nice day and she had a blast.
Now we are chilling at home...she´s playing silly games on my iphone....and I am watching a bit of TV and surf thru the net.
It´s AllSaints here which is a holiday in some of the German states....not all....lol....but we are lucky.....actually the last holiday in my state until Christmas!!!
We might visit a zoo today or just be chilling at home....not sure yet...but we won´t be bored!

I am watching documentaries about the 3rd Reich.....this one in general is about the cult, the Nazis created about Hitler......and everytime I watch it and see it....I hope and pray...nobody like that will ever get power again in my country.....and I wonder how all of this could have happened.........so scary and crazy!!!!

Yes it was a pretty good Monday. Some people are talking about moving Halloween to the last Saturday of October, instead of it actually being on the 31st. I like traditions myself, I don't mind what day if the week it falls on.

Amen Martine. Way, way to many holiday traditions (as well as others) are being swept under the rug in the name of convenience.

Well Halloween is almost over and I have to say the excitement is building. The start of November brings my niece's birthday, my aunt's birthday, Thanksgiving, my mom's birthday, and finally, Christmas. I can't wait.

Hard to believe Halloween is now just about in the rear view, now I can focus on finishing my Christmas playlists and change out the music on my phone.

Morning Xmas. We had a good time here to. This year a lot of the houses were lit up and we went though a lot of candy, mini popcorn bags, pretzels and mini cheese puffs. It was nice.

Good morning MMC! Can't believe November is here already! I have a couple of days off and finally some time to switch on my laptop for a while while the little one's still asleep.

How was everyone's Halloween? Since it's not very much celebrated in my country (it only started getting popular around 4 or 5 years back) only 3 kids came trick or treating to our house. It was an improvement actually since last year no one came. I still have a whole lot of candy so I hope some kids will turn up tonight (as they sometimes do )because otherwise I'll end up eating candy.

The weather finally turned much cooler after last weekend. Until Friday we still had Summer weather, people were still going to the beach and swim. The cool weather will bring the Christmas spirit in

Greetings K.G. Finally November! Our turnout for Halloween had been a little off the past few years. Partly due to concerned parents and them not as many homes participating. This year was much better. A lot more houses were involved and this street (and the surrounding ones) were well lit and many kids came around. Even the weather cooperated and the wind died down for the festivities.

Looking forward to that...
But I fainted two times last night so I have this bump in my forehead
and a cut over my nose... Dont look so good..

A little bit dissapointment over Halloween this year.
People are sending out their kids trick or treating but they are NOT
opening the doors them self to others trick and treaters...
Whats up with that?
My little one was so disappointed

The seasons can be a little disappointing when more wish to take then to give, but it is a comfort to know the spirit of giving and opening your home to others is still alive. Well...I was disappointed yesterday during work...only saw 1 student dressed up. But I went for a run when my daughter had hockey practice. Totally forgot that trick-or-treaters were going to be out. Saw a bunch of cute little ones. Scary and exciting to think that it's November already!! Hope everyone had a great day!!

Greetings Christmasstar. We had a nice Halloween weather wise. It began very windy and I was concerned even about some of the yard decorations, but it died down around 5PM. Just in time for the annual "dress up and get the goodies" parade. now time to get ready for this month and all it's festivities.
