I am sooooooo tired. We had a blast last night giving out candy, but now all I want to do is sleep. And I have so much Halloween stuff to put away! Yeeks! I need to hurry so I can get Thanksgiving decorations up at home.

Happy November! I'm excited to pull out the turkeys and pilgrims!

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little excited to start hearing Christmas music playing in the stores, even if many places skip Thanksgiving. It really is the cozy, hidden holiday, isn't it? Like many family things, intimately tucked away from the world. It will be seen and celebrated all November at my house.

Merry Afternoon all,
Yesterday we had a mild and pleasant day. Didn't even need a coat but a cold front is moving in and we are dropping with each day. Feeling very christmassy in the cold crisp air and the smell of burning firewood.

Happy November!!!! Well the kids had fun last night. We had a house full of kids that we took around the neighborhood ... It was sad though to see so many houses dark.

Tonight the Halloween decoration come down and the fall and Thanksgiving Decoration go up. In a couple weeks we will bring down the Christmas decorations to start testing the lights and make sure everything is ready to for Thanksgiving weekend. Only a matter of time before the radio stations flip over to Christmas Music

I'm excited too! I looked on my lunch at how many decorations are Halloween & need to come down & also how many Thanksgiving I have to put up. Hopefully I'll get that done tonight.
I don't look at them playing music as "skipping Thanksgiving" - there are very few Thanksgiving songs out there. They are just starting Holiday music!
