Hey - Friday night I watched Garfield Halloween, Thanksgiving & then Christmas. Then I finally watched The Great Pumpkin. Maybe tonight I'll watch Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. :)
We watched Charlie Brown Thanksgiving tonight, it is probably the weakest of the big 3 Charlie Brown specials but we have to watch it every year.

Good evening,

Busy day today getting the house ready for Christmas. I was able to get our 2 main trees up. We aren't decorating them yet, because we want the kittens use to them. I had to move quite a bit of furniture to make room for the trees, so I am quite beat. I only have one more day off before Thanksgiving, so after work decorating will be the name of the game.
Watching the Bengals game now, I probably won't make the end of it.

I hope you all had a great day

Goodnight, everyone

Good Monday Morning MMC! I'm off today so a little bit of a late start for me. Got my run in after sleeping in (aka 7AM). I'm going to the mall in a bit after a couple of errands. I just want to look around, get ideas for Christmas gifts and sorta take in the "calm before the storm" that will be starting up in about 10 days. Then all heck is going to break loose until January. No wonder we love this time of year more than any other.
Have a great Monday!
Hey Edge... now Tuesday morning. I got some of the stuff I needed to do yesterday. Today and tomorrow will be strange... at least in the matter of sleep. Got up at one, will stay up till 10 or 11, then get some sleep so I can attend a wake service for a departed friend, then a mid-shift followed by a funeral on Wednesday at 11. As Sherlock Holmes would say... "One can always get some sleep later".
Here's hoping your "storm" will be a mild one.
Have a tremendous Tuesday my friend...

Good Morning Frosty. Did not catch you yesterday with all the events I had to do, but hopefully your Monday went well and you are more than ready for this Tuesday.
Enjoy. The Season Is Upon Us...

Greetings Prancer. Sorry to hear your daughter is not feeling well. It is so hard for parents to watch from the sidelines, knowing that many times all they can do is be there when what they want is to take it on themselves. The season is indeed here and I am so looking forward to the days ahead. I pray your Tuesday far exceeds Monday for your and your family.

Goodnight, everyone
Good Morning Xmas (or when you read this... ;) ). I have two up, with at least three others planned. Lots of rearranging to do here as well. Did not see the game last night, but I am watching the replay on NFL Network, so I still won't know who wins till the end.
Have a terrific Tuesday and fun decorating. I will admit that I prefer the finished product more than the task. I'm sure the feeling is more... now I can sit back and enjoy it.

Merry Monday and another official Christmas season has begun! My daughter and I watched Elf last night, I just love that movie. Typical day for me of work and I need to get to the grocery store later. Looks like it is going to be a nice day with lots of sun. Thanksgiving will be here before you know it!
Hope you all have a great day!
Happy Tuesday Morning SnowflakeMom. Have not started my Christmas movie viewing yet, but ti will begin soon. Yesterday was a little busy and the rest of this week should be the same, but for the most part it will also be very productive. Only have a few Thanksgiving items left to get and then I'll be ready for it as well. I hope your Monday went well and that your Tuesday (and the remainder of the week) goes even better.

Good morning MMC! Merry Monday! What a weekend! My brother from Cape Cod flew in Saturday morning & surprised us! He called my sis & said he was in PA & would need picked up at the airport in a couple hours. SO FUN!! I went shopping with the girls Saturday morning, then out for lunch. Then to my future nieces bridal shower...watched the Buckeyes then off to my nieces for an impromptu party with the family. Yesterday my brother took lots of nieces/nephews up for plane rides & my other brother had everybody over for a cook out, including my cousins who are cleaning out my uncles house which is in the same neighborhood as my mom & brother (My uncle is in a nursing home & my nephew/wife are going to rent his house) - what a fun house full! This morning my Cape Cod brother, mom & I took off to pick up Emma - She was SO SURPRISED to see him! We then dropped him off at the airport on the way home & he had to head back! Always sad to say goodbye, but he'll be back in 3 weeks for my nephews wedding! :) 2 of my sisters, my brother, SIL & 2 of their grandkids were there this morning to see him off. What a fun morning - it was hard to come to work...but here I am! And now I have some catching up to do both at work & here on MMC! Looking forward to reading the last special posts!!

Everyone, have a GREAT Monday!

Happy Tuesday Morning Holiday. I can sum up your post very simply... WOW!!!
Fun, busy, surprises, good friends, family and food. It will be hard to top that in the coming weeks, but I am certain you and your family will try. I hope the "workday reality" was not too much of a let down. May the rest of your week go quickly and help you get ready for the season.

Good Morning Festive. I'm sure there are many MMC members that will find their days getting fuller and fuller as Christmas approaches. I know everyone is happy to hear from you when you are able.
Enjoy your Tuesday...

Good afternoon, Christmas friends! Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Staying home with the girls today as the babysitter ended up sick. It has been pretty fun as we have just played, now it is time for lunch and picking up. Before i do that, I'm going to make my grocery list for Thanksgiving food

Nothing like an unexpected day off.
Howdy Ballcoach. I have had a few of those impromptu days off. Some much better than others and it sounds like this one was overall enjoyable for you. Still got a couple of last minute things for Turkey day, but most of it is ready to go.
Have a great Tuesday...

Good evening, everyone!

I am at Russell today. It was a sunny and chilly morning, but it's really tuned into a beautiful mid-Novemeber Day. Temperatures have reached into the double digits (55f). It should be above seasonal for the rest of the week, too, which is pretty awesome!

Not much is happening today. School is over shortly. I am going to the gym afterwards, and then, taking it easy for the rest of the night. It certainly will be real nice taking it easy while being surrounded by Christmas decorations, and of course, my Tree.

I hope everyone has enjoyed their first two days of the Christmas Season. What a wonderful time of the year! Merry Christmas!
A Treat-filled Tuesday to you Brent. Temps have been great here in SD as well. Even at the moment it is still above 50 degrees. Our home brings a sigh from me, which means it is halfway ready and halfway still needs to be finished. Somehow this seemed so much easier 20 - 30 years ago... :D
Have fun, enjoy the decorations and of course the season...

good morning all y´all!
watching Midsomer Murders right now and chilling with Kandice and the furbabies......checking for christmas presents....the one I was looking for, for Kandice (the Nintendo Classic Mini) has just been released on the 11th....and is sold out everywhere......It seems Nintendo didn´t really expect the people to go bonkers over a new edition of their first console with 30 preinstalled games.....because noone knows when they will be available again. so now I am thinking about what to get for her and browsing the net.
Morning Trackrebel. I think Nintendo does it on purpose to stimulate the market. They did the same thing on their last few releases (remember the Wii?). Gets people excited so that when they make a major release it gets snatched up rather than sit on the shelves. The other item like that is the Hatchables. Hard to find and some customers will buy entire shipments to inflate the price on other markets (like E-Bay). It's a shame that some people and companies treat the two "S" in Christmas as dollar signs.
Have a good day and a better week...

I can't let DH find out about this or I'll have them at my house! He has every Star Trek Hallmark ornament made since 1991 (25th anniversary), but will never but them on a tree! I told him he can have his own tree in the new man cave. No one would mess with it & he has plenty of ornaments to fill up a tree.

I've been listening to Christmas music on satellite radio since November 2nd & even watched two Hallmark Christmas movies yesterday that I hadn't seen. I wrapped gifts from Santa for DD on Friday. Still, I'm having trouble getting excited about Christmas. I'm really wanting to get our main tree up, but that won't happen until at least Thanksgiving night, but no later than the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I'm glad that DD is still a believer in Santa at 11 years old, but afraid that she's going to be made fun of if she doesn't find out the truth. Neither DH nor I want to tell her, so we're just letting her take the lead still. I guess I just have to get myself in the right frame of mind to get into the Christmas Spirit! Merry Christmas to all!

Happy Tuesday Whitney. I have quite a few of the Star Trek ornaments myself and use to have a huge Star Trek wreath. But I have not done that for awhile. The only one that ever made it to the tree was the Shuttlecraft with a greeting from Spock. I'm sure it is just me, but they did not seem right on my tree. Hard to believe in Santa? I use to always play the original Miracle on 34th Street for my kids. At the time it did the trick. So relax, light a pine candle, close your eyes for a moment and let the spirit come to you...

Hello friend's

Hope you all had a great day
Good morning Irish. It was enjoyable and very full. The next few will probably be the same. I trust things across the pond are going well for you and that the spirit of the season is filling you, your family and your home. Have a great Tuesday...

Hello everyone. It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just a little over a week away.

We put up the outside Christmas decorations yesterday. It was an all-day job. We are planning on doing some more as well. We have the santa sleigh and reindeer blowmolds and we plan to put them on the roof this year. We actually went and bought 3 more reindeer to give the illusion of 8 reindeer.
Does anyone have any suggestions for attaching blowmolds to the roof? If so let me know!
Happy Tuesday ITeach. Yes... getting very close. Some of my favorite traditions... breakfast, then parade. Dinner prep, snacks and first game. Dinner time, then the second game. Let things settle, then dessert and the evening game... +j
The only downside is the cleaning up, which I try to do as I go along. I did not have that many for my roof, but I attached mine with wire to the gutters, chimney and under the roof at one end. Good luck and have a great day...
