Sounds delicious! I'll swing by your house on my way to prancers! ;) I doubt that I will be making anything tonight. We will probably grab a bite to eat around the lake before heading to the party at the sportsmans club. But tomorrow I am going to be smoking 2 turkey roasts (for friends) & on Sunday I am smoking a "bacon explosion" for my friend who had surgery yesterday & her family!
If you haven't seen what a bacon explosion is, check it out. It's totally sinful! That's why I'll make it to share! :D:p

WOW that looks sinfully delicious!!! I wonder if I can manage making that someday!
Sports bar sounds like fun. Enjoy your bite to eat out! That's what Fridays are for!

Adrian sent me this picture of Harlowe, aka his "little buddy" yesterday. Her bed is in our office, next to his desk.
So sweet!!

First you make friend rice, now you're calling us biddies?! :p
I kid! Ha ha!
Good Afternoon, prancer!
Happy weekend to you!!
Dinner sounds delish!! :)

Prancer is just making up a language exclusively for MMC members!!:p

Happy Friday everyone!! My Friday just go interesting. I had taken my daughter in on Wednesday to Urgent Care because she was complaining of her neck being sore and being hard to breathe and swallow. Rapid strep result came back negative, so the did a Mono test. That came back positive. We were given a prescription to help ease the swelling of her glands as she gets over Mono. Then I get a phone call today from the clinic saying that her strep culture came back negative! She looked really worn our yesterday (she went to school) and got up late today so I kept her home from school today. Kind of glad I did now, with that phone call from the clinic. The Mrs has family coming into town this weekend for a couple hockey games (They are from across the state.) Plus we were going to watch the local high school girls hockey game (My daughter wants to play hockey for them.) Guess my daughter isn't going to be going to the hockey games then. I'm not really positive I will be either. She is 13 (14 in March) and has a phone so she could get a hold of me if needed, but I'm not sure if I'll be comfortable leaving her at home alone.

On a positive note, my calf has gotten better each day. I ran a couple days ago and while it was still sore, I could run albeit at a much slower pace than I prefer, but I'm not pushing it. The heating pad at night has been helping.

To all our biddies ( Prancer :p) on the east coast, stay safe and warm. To everyone else not affected by storms this weekend, have a great weekend!!

Sean

And now I am thirsty. :)

Merry Friday Meceka!

Thank you, Holiday!

Awesome news Meceka!! Fingers crossed for you! Best wishes!!!

Thank you so much! :)

I think you should! :) (sorry Brad - Do you want to build a snowmaaaan?)

Is that from Frozen? Having never seen/heard the movie/songs it has me wondering.

Lol!! I'll see once!!! I have too many unfinished crochet projects!

I have a lot of unfinished projects, too.

Every once in a while I have to look at unfinished crochet projects and decide whether I'm going to finish them. If I abandoned something because I didn't really enjoy working on it, it either goes out, or I rip it out and use the remains for granny squares and scrap afghans. That's one reason I use inexpensive acrylic yarn.

I use the inexpensive yarn, too.

All sleet so far, unfortunately. Nasty ice coating on the paved surfaces.
Not to worry, though. I plan to stay safely inside!

Oh, that is horrible. So glad you are staying safely inside!!

Thank you so much Holiday!
I just realized I forgot to buy coffee creamer and I'm running low. Looks like I'll have to fight my way through the supermarket for it. I have to have it, especially during a blizzard!

Coffee creamer is a must! Good luck!!

I do the same thing Merry (buying the less expensive yarn) - I have ripped out a project or 2, but I have several started that some day I hope to finish. 1 being the snowflake afghan you sew together. I don't know why I started that (other than it's beautiful!) b/c I really dislike sewing pieces together. LOL

Me, too! I'm not very fond of weaving in yarn ends, either.

Aw, your poor daughter! Praying she will be better soon! I hope your weekend will still be a merry one!

One box of items washed, tagged and ready to be displayed. Still a lot to do so I had best get going. Not sure if I will have time to pop on later tomorrow, so I will wish all of you a safe and MERRY weekend!
