Good afternoon ... How is everyone? Sorry I don't have time to catch up on every ones post. I am so far behind on those :( We had a nice time playing in the snow the last few days, we got 17 inches. This morning when I was taking my daughter to school it just looked so prettyView attachment 19167

Well I apparently had DUH moment this past Christmas that I just found out about yesterday ... Found a forgotten bag with a few stocking stuffers in it for our son LOL. Oh well at least now I have a jump start on his Easter Basket :)

I hope everyone has a great day
We have done that before, all I can think of is Clark Griswold finding the Mother's day gift hidden in the attic a few years later.

I bet your homemade dough would be even better!! And there are a lot of recipes out there for biscuits - if I'm not mistaken I think there is one that is only 3-4 ingredients using a 7-up (or any other citrus soda) Good luck. Let me know if you try any of them!

Hey I found the recipe (I have not tried these)

"These biscuits are delicious and not as fattening as the recipe might lead you to believe. That stick of butter is allotted through the whole recipe and the biscuits are so tasty that you won't need any toppings!"
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 1/2 cups baking mix (such as Bisquick (R))
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda (such as 7-Up(R))
  • 1 cup sour cream
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Put butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish and place dish in the preheating oven until butter is melted.
  2. Mix baking mix, lemon-lime soda, and sour cream together in a bowl until dough holds together and is sticky. Turn dough onto a floured work surface and roll into 1-inch thick circle. Cut circles out of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a wine glass and place in the melted butter.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until biscuits are golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes. Remove dish from oven and let stand until biscuits have absorbed all the butter.

I am thinking Holiday needs to publish her own cookbook.

Good Evening, friends~
Prancer asked me to let you know that his wife's granny passed away this afternoon.
Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Prancer's family is in my thoughts.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's good to be home! The older I get, the more I appreciate stability. Time was, I'd love to take off on a road trip; now I look forward to staying home with my family. Plus, I didn't get my Keurig cup and my Pop-Tart yesterday morning! The traffic was a bear on the way home, but once I got east of Macon, it was smooth sailing.

Now I'm trying to catch up here at work. I hope y'all have a great Pinesday! :D

Those are my 2 favorite months too! (January is my third favorite, since the Christmas season still lingers, and it's my birthday month)
My 3rd favorite month is October...4th favorite month is September...in fact I can almost (not quite) count backwards on my favorite to least favorite month. For me that just means the year gets better and better as it goes along.
