I know! It's so amazing!! made me really tear up tonight. So many of us have had pets gone missing and hoped and prayed we would find them again. I just know he must have been searching for them too!

So awesome!!! I'm sure he was searching for them too. Makes you wonder where he has been. I'm sure he was happy to see them!!! I hate to think about losing my Gracie for a day, never mind 4 years.

Quitting time!! I have no major plans tonight. I'm going to run to the Dollar Store after work & then ?? Leftovers for supper. Hopefully I can work on my afghan tonight. I hope you all have a magical evening!!!

Well, not sure. We sent home our front desk assistant, about two hours ago. She lives almost an hour away.
And half of the office is either out sick, or has already left. No one has said anything else.

Mr Festive just told me the most darling story!

His colleague's mother's cat went missing four years ago. They searched tirelessly but he was never found even though he was chipped. A couple of days ago they went to the vet with another cat. While they were there they came across a sick cat that a good Samaritan found and dropped off at the Vet's office. The vet was talking about it to them and how he would be searching for a home for the cat if he survived.

The mom upon seeing the cat immediately recognises him as her own that went missing 4 years ago! The vet scanned the chip and confirmed her details as being the owner!!!

It was her cat that went missing four years ago!!

They are now nursing him back to health because he has several issues. Please say a little prayer for him to return to good health so he can go home with his family after all these years!!

Isn't this just amazing!!!!

I listen to those bands too (and some more) I sometimes get people who don't now Badfinger. They were such a good bad and have influenced so many bands with their sound. I hadn't realised Status Quo wasn't all that big in the US.
Glad the boys are improving.

Badfinger was an incredible band, they were probably going to be the "next Beatles" if their management didn't mess up their lives. Pete Ham probably is my favorite male singing vocalist of all time. Such a sad, sad story.

Merry Morning,
My boys are still unwell. My youngest coughed all night. I hope he has some relief tonight.
My eldest will be off today. My youngest may be well enough to go to nursery as it's only 2 1/2 hours there. We shall see.

Windstorms continue. The temps though have been unseasonable mild here reaching 11C!! This has been happening the last few years around this time. Just when we think we are heading toward an early spring, we then enter a cold snap that lasts well after the official start of spring!

Hard to believe I've been up almost 3 hours already. Started making cranberry applesauce in my slow cooker and it smells so good in here right now! Get to work on reports today ~ should be interesting!
