I thought the same thing - would make an excellent fondue. It's just so tasty! I put it over the casserole I made last night in place of cheese - delish!

That is so exciting snowflake!!!! I love the autumn Maple. So pretty! We have a maple in the front yard - I'm not exactly sure what kind of maple it is. We had another one that came down several years ago in a nasty storm. Which reminds me again, we never made it to the nursery this weekend to pick out a tree for our front yard. We had an excellent afternoon, making picks on our new house, and being able to walk through our home for the first time!
Then then they sent us over to my favorite garden center in town to pick out our landscaping. So fun!!!
For our front yard tree choice, we picked and autumn Maple-gorgeous! Easy choice
This week, we need to pick out our lighting & plumbing fixtures, and our fireplace stone.
We just order takeout, and are going to settle in and have dinner and watch a movie.

O-H-I-OCrazy weather today. The wind has been insane all day. In our county and the county to our south, there were about 13,000 people who lost power. We were one of them. Then came some crazy snow. Huge flakes, almost no visibility for a few minutes at a time. The snow actually covered the ground and roofs for about 10 minutes, then the sun came out and it melted, then it snowed some more, then the sun, then more snow, then sun and rain, and then snow and then sun.
Our power came back on about an hour ago, we were out for maybe 2 hours, nothing major. Just...really...weird. Oh, and a freeze watch tonight. 27 degrees tonight after being in the 60s the last several days.
It WAS a crazy weather day. Lots of peeps were out of electric here too. Thankfully today is supposed to be much better. Have a great day!

Beer Cheese Dip
2 8 oz. packages cream cheese
1 cup Mayo
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch dip mix
1/2 cup Beer (you can also substitute w/ NA beer)
2 cup Sharp cheddar cheese
Stir & chill
Serve with pretzels, crackers, pita bread, chips, etc.
Enjoy!!

Woke up to snow showers and very high winds. Our lights have been flickering all morning, hope we don't lose power.
I have to head out soon, I have an appointment. I saw my neurologist last week for my chronic headaches/migraines and he's sending me for a test. The radiologist had weekend hours so I thought it would be easier for me to sneak out of here on a Sunday morning than a week day. I'm kind of anxious about the results but hopefully everything will be alright.
Not too much else planned. We need a few things from Home Depot, I might take a ride there with my husband this afternoon if I feel up to it. That's about it for me.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

If precipitations were in the forecast, we'd be getting snow today as it's -14°C (7°F) right now with the wind. But they announce sun and cold temperatures for the next few days.
I'm about to make oatmeal with maple syrup for breakfast. Love warm oatmeal when it's cold outside. Gets me going for the day. Everyone have a great Sunday!
