YIKES!!!!! Get out that shovel! Good morning! Happy Sunday!

Its not done yet..I went to the store quick..no plowing or salt done. Seems city put away everything to early. High winds and white out conditions still.

Good morning and Happy Sunday!
Woke up to snow showers and very high winds. Our lights have been flickering all morning, hope we don't lose power.
I have to head out soon, I have an appointment. I saw my neurologist last week for my chronic headaches/migraines and he's sending me for a test. The radiologist had weekend hours so I thought it would be easier for me to sneak out of here on a Sunday morning than a week day. I'm kind of anxious about the results but hopefully everything will be alright.
Not too much else planned. We need a few things from Home Depot, I might take a ride there with my husband this afternoon if I feel up to it. That's about it for me.

Good morning everyone.
Crazy Ohio wind update... Watching the local news I found out that on a road between my house and the school where I teach, about 11 telephone/electric poles came tumbling down across the road and trapped 4 cars! Also, the canopy of a shell station south of me was knocked over. Of course there was also a lot of trees down and barns destroyed, you know the usual.
Oh yeah... and I get up this morning to a solid dusting of snow.

Maybe tomorrow it will be 85 and they will open the public pool.

As much as I love snow in December, 8 inches at this time of year would depress me. Hope you are taking it in stride.

If precipitations were in the forecast, we'd be getting snow today as it's -14°C (7°F) right now with the wind. But they announce sun and cold temperatures for the next few days.

I'm about to make oatmeal with maple syrup for breakfast. Love warm oatmeal when it's cold outside. Gets me going for the day. Everyone have a great Sunday!

That is so exciting snowflake!!!! I love the autumn Maple. So pretty! We have a maple in the front yard - I'm not exactly sure what kind of maple it is. We had another one that came down several years ago in a nasty storm. Which reminds me again, we never made it to the nursery this weekend to pick out a tree for our front yard. Darnit!

I can't wait to see pics of your new home! Fun Fun Fun!

Good Morning, Friends.

Moving on through the weekend and further into April.
(Can we really be in the fourth month of the year, already? Seems like just yesterday Santa was on his throne in Crabtree Valley Mall talking to the kids!)

This is surprising, too:
Days to the Season: 224
Days to Christmas Day: 266

But even more surprising is the nearness of our next TWO Milestones, the 1/3 Christmas Day mark and the 200-day Season Window, both barely over three weeks away now.
Wowzers!


A bit more rain yesterday morning, then clear and sunny for the remainder of the day with moderate temps and little wind.
Should be another nice one today although we have started it off rather chilly at 46 degrees.
