My grandma always put rhubarb in strawberry pies. I kinda doubt it would do very good in Ga. growing. I always found it sketchy because even deer wont eat rhubarb at home..lol

With rhubarb you have to be careful, the stalk is safe to eat, but the leaves are poisonous.

It was so cold out today it was unreal for April. I had to almost run from my car to the store...like you would in Jan/Feb on a cold windy day. Just can't believe April can be that cold.

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! Boy it's cold outside. Low 20s and a wind chill of 7 degrees! It feels like winter out. Too cold for April. It's supposed to be cold next weekend too. Maybe after that it will start to go back to normal (I hope). Anyway I am ready to go to work and hopefully I will accomplish more today than yesterday. I felt lazy yesterday at work because I was tired. Today I feel less tired but still think I need to catch up on a little sleep tonight. Other than that just moving along through this week in April.

It's been a very hectic morning. We had a viewing this morning so had to get the house tidy and store away personal bits etc. Luckily the viewing was the same time as the dentist so we had soemhwere to be while the Estate agent showed them around.

Denstist went okay. No work needed. It's over.

Lol!! Coffee really doesnt affect me anymore for pep,energy etc.. I can drink it up to the minute I go to bed and fall asleep. Soda will keep me awake though.

I, however, have dental work this week. But we found a new dentist that we think we're going to like better than the previous one, and her price for my dental work is a good 25% less than the previous dentist's.

I'm glad you found a new dentist. Sending up prayers that the work done is pain-free!

There's a fun movie called "Rhubarb" (1951), but Rhubarb is a cat, not a vegetable. The cat inherits a baseball team from an eccentric millionaire, and the complications start from there, involving the daffy team, the team's manager, and his fiancee---who turns out to be allergic to cats.

I've always wanted to see that movie.

We use our coffee pot daily, since Adi started drinking coffee a few years back. Love my cute red Mr. Coffee coffee pot!

I use a 4-cup Mr. Coffee pot as it was the only thing available locally when my other pot died. One of these days I should see if I can find another Krups. The one I had lasted over 15 years!
