I think two weeks is too long too. She has an appointment with a counselor on Thursday to pick her classes for next semester, she's praying she doesn't have to serve that day.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's been a busy morning today, so I haven't had a chance to post before now.

I went outside for my morning walk around 6:30, and it was raining! I guess I wasn't expecting rain, and now it looks rainy for the rest of the week. I need to get a few more seeds in the garden while it's raining!

...and here we are.

Good morning, everyone!

It's over... Finally! The new teacher came in yesterday and officially starts today. I am no longer teaching Grades 7/8 every day. I am officially back to supply work! As I have said before, having my own class(es) was fun, but this will be much better. I am dealing with students that I can get along well with and, of course, I am getting paid much more! No more 60% of a day pay!!

I hope everyone has been having an enjoyable week thus far. Yesterday was not very pretty in Ottawa. We started out with some very wet/icy conditions. It rained afterwards, too. Now, we're finally on our way to SPRING weather. We will finally reach double digit temperatures (50s) on Thursday and it looks to be here for good. Hooray!

Well, I guess I should get some work done. Have a great Tuesday, everyone!

Just got back from lunch a little while ago. Took Gracie on a walk for some much needed fresh air & sunshine! I hung some clothes on the line. Didn't want to come back to work! The air is still quite chilly but the sun feels so good!

I just got out of a 4 hour meeting / walk-through at the hotel.
Looking awesome! But still a lot to do.

Yes! And they are mean!!!! They love one of our lake friends & bug spray doesn't keep them off her. If she's outside at dusk, she has to go inside & put on pants & a sweatshirt - even if it's still 90º outside!!

Yep! We typically do them after our owner's meeting each Tuesday, but exciting to see the progress as we near completion!
