Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good morning everyone, just a quick hello from me this morning. I'm not off to a good start today. I'm a nervous wreck about this jury duty thing. I hope everything works out for my daughter. My father had a doctor appointment yesterday because he hasn't been feeling well and his doctor ended up sending him over to the hospital for tests. They ended up admitting him so I'm going to take a ride there today to see if I could find out whats going on. I had a dermatologist appointment scheduled for later this morning, I think I'm still going to go. My mother and brother will be with my father this morning. I'll go to the hospital after my appointment. I'll pop back in here when I can.

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Hump Day! Or as Carl says Pines Day! It was actually coldish out this morning when I went for my run which surprised me because yesterday I came home almost sweating. But we are now seeing the sun and are supposed to see it right through the rest of the week and through the weekend with a warming trend. Maybe it's time to put away the sweaters finally. Anyway, I am glad we are at mid-week. I have a lot of work to do the rest of this week but that's just normal. April really is flying already huh?

Days to the Season: 214
Days to Christmas Day: 256

A quick glance at the first number informs us that we are precisely TWO WEEKS away now from the 200-day Season Milestone.
Subtract one day, and you have the 1/3 Christmas Day marker.
(Can't wait for these back to back Milestones!)


Rain was the order of the day yesterday but it was not cold.
The precipitation ended by the afternoon and we are predicted to be clear for the remainder of the week.
Currently, we are at 48 degrees here in central NC.


Have a Wonderful Wednesday and a Particularly Perfect 'Pines Day open house this evening.
(Carl is ready and waiting as usual!)

My long weekend has officially started as of 46 minutes ago. Still cold outside but temps should be on the rise today. We had it snow last night during dinner..I believe that was the last snowfall till next winter.

I really enjoy the back-to-back April Milestone. I really feel as if it makes it feel as if the Season is right around the corner... After all, I guess, it is pretty much halfway there!

Good Morning..happy hump day!! Work was absolutely insane yesterday but hopefully should calm down a bit after this week. I am off on Monday and looking so forward to the 3 day weekend. The sun is finally shining this morning. Hope you all have a good day!

Good morning, everyone! Happy 'Pines Day!

It's a beautiful and sunny morning in Canada's Capital. The only downfall is that it's a little chilly. It was near freezing this morning. We are to reach a high of about 7c/45f. Not bad, yet still well below seasonal. After today, thankfully, we will be into those wonderful double digits and I will be able to enjoy my outdoor activities in shorts. Hooray!

I am teaching the same stuff today as yesterday. It's a nice and easy gig. Tomorrow, I begin my full week of teaching gym. It's going to be a lot of fun!

Well, I should get a few things prepared. I hope everyone has a great 'Pines Day!
