Good morning, everyone! Happy 'Pines Day!

It's a beautiful and sunny morning in Canada's Capital. The only downfall is that it's a little chilly. It was near freezing this morning. We are to reach a high of about 7c/45f. Not bad, yet still well below seasonal. After today, thankfully, we will be into those wonderful double digits and I will be able to enjoy my outdoor activities in shorts. Hooray!

I am teaching the same stuff today as yesterday. It's a nice and easy gig. Tomorrow, I begin my full week of teaching gym. It's going to be a lot of fun!

Well, I should get a few things prepared. I hope everyone has a great 'Pines Day!

My long weekend has officially started as of 46 minutes ago. Still cold outside but temps should be on the rise today. We had it snow last night during dinner..I believe that was the last snowfall till next winter.

We had the same thing this morning - frost on the ground & on the roof tops, but sunshine & a high of 56º!

Good morning, Holiday! National Peach Cobbler Day, huh? I have a confession: I'm from Georgia, but I hate peach cobbler! I like canned peaches, but not fresh peaches. Weird, right?

Um, isn't that un-Georgian?? I'm not much of a peach cobbler lover either. I do like the recipe I have for peach pie, using fresh (or frozen) peaches. But peaches aren't my fave....Now my hubby loves them! I did get a text bright & early this morning from a friend that she had just put peach cobbler in the oven. LOL!

HA! My hubby & nephews had shorts on at Easter....then the weather went south...er...north.... the weather got COLD!!!!

It's great when you can take out the shorts for a few months...and then when you put them away it's sad but exciting cause we're into the BERS!

Prayers & hugs for sweet Har. It could easily be allergies - poor girl!! Hopefully that's all it is though! Hope she has better nights ahead. I'm glad she's loving her walks & is playing!
Gracie is good! She goes back to the groomer today! I think this time is actually grooming (not just a wash/brush out) It might be time for her summer cut!
