her coat looks so thick and warm. I wonder if her feet gets cold! Cheeky girl!

She does have a thick coat. And yes, she gets so much snow stuck in her pads! But that's b/c she runs around in the snow like a crazy woman!!! LOL

I am getting old! I forget sometimes The other day however I was given a reminder when I discovered to my horror a grey hair!!!!!!!!

We're not getting older, just the kids are!!!
Oh the horror, a grey hair. LOL A trip to the beauty shop can fix that!

I scored me a ticket to the Panthers/Seahawks game Sunday! Weather looks to be cold but at least above freezing. I need to dig out my thermal socks and undergarments for this trip. Go Panthers!

Merry Tuesday....not too much to report on my end today. They are saying we may get a coating to 2 inches. I am hoping for the 2 inches..I would like one big storm and then I am good for a warm up..lol

Afternoon all,
I am so jealous of everyone with snowfall ! Enjoy and send some my way !

On the walk to pick up my son from school, I was so cold! It really is dropping!! I've had my heat on all day!

I have been working most of the day. Now to make dinner and get the children sorted. I plan on working tonight once the kids are in bed. Hopefully I can make a lot of progress with no distractions.

Oh yeah been there done that before . This winter haven't had to but it's still a long way to go before we're out of the woods for snow. Try to avoid the ice if you can. I've had a few falls or near-falls lol.

I slipped a couple times yesterday, first time since the snow fell here that I have. Biggest thing I'm battling now is the frigid weather. My rational is that I ran the Turkey Trot here 2 Thanksgivings ago and the air temp was below zero and wind chill was at least -25, so I can run in these frigid temps. I just wear extra layers when I do. I throw out trying to beat my time in this cold/snowy conditions.

We rarely get snow days here. Sometimes the very first snowfall if it's significant, or a rather large storm.
At my morning meetings today, some of the guys didn't come because of the cold. Really?! I'm out there, prepared for the weather, but still freezing, I didn't know that was an option

I gave up going to the barber last year because it seemed like why am I wasting my time once a month so he can shave hair that barely grows that much anymore. When I was young I'd wait 2 months and look like a sheep. Now I just shave it every week on my own...not like it's gonna grow much even if I let it (and not evenly either lol).

I haven't gone to the barber since 2003 or so. Mother nature decided she was going to take the hair from the top part of my head so I decided I would take the rest. During the summer I bic it, but otherwise I use clippers with no guard. Otherwise I would look like Mr Fantastic without hair on the top.

So, here I am still laid up with a broken fibula in the left leg. Hopefully I can try to get to work on Thursday for a couple of hours after my orthopedic appointment. This is getting old really fast. I have to say I wish they had put a cast on my foot/leg rather than the boot. The boot is flexible, which actually makes it harder to get around. It's also, (honestly, I swear) heavier than the cast I had when I broke my foot. I feel like I'm dragging a ball and chain around. Ah well, hopefully the doctor will tell me something nice like I can sleep without this nuisance on my leg. But maybe not. We'll see.
