So glad we weren't the cause of your calf popping! Thanks again for keeping everything crossed. There are a few loose ends yet, but ... well, I'll post when we know something for sure. Things are looking more encouraging than they have in about 15 months.

That's what I'd like to do today. We had about 3 inches of snow overnight and it's sunny and cold and blustery today. I'm about halfway through an afghan, so it would keep me cozy and warm while I watch movies and work on it. And I'm craving a mug of something warm ... tea or cocoa. I'm loving having an office holiday today.

I'm finally back at work today, although I get to leave early. I was getting a touch of cabin fever, so I'm glad to be out. It's a brisk 24 degrees, and very refreshing to get outside.

I know. Jan/Feb I feel like I have set off sailing with nothing in sight. Come March and I can see Ber months on the horizon even though it's still a way to go yet.

It's good though this Monday today we have our first milestone and then next Monday we have the first Rudolph day of the year (25th) and the following Monday we're out of January and into February. Step by step.
