Christmas Countdown - 2016

You guys are on page 265. I'm about to start reading 249, but lots of work to do so I'll have to catch up more later. LOL Just wanted to jump in here to say hope everyone has a great Thursday and is careful if your area is getting hit with heavy snows and low temps.

The last two days have been a business nightmare for us between our hosting server and some other things. I've spent more time on hold with HostGator in the last 24 hours than I have doing anything else. *banging head on keyboard*

Snowflake - hope you're able to get in to see your chiropractor soon. I too get headaches from positional and alignment issues. Although I lucked out because Bud is a massage therapist so when they hit, he can work them out quickly. Hope it's gone quickly!

Oh no.... a cataclysmic event has just occurred. As I am typing this - Sadie's favorite rope toy just tore in half as she was playing tug. I ask for a moment of silence.... she's in mourning. I'm getting sad Pitbull eyes.

Have a Merry Thursday evening all! I'm sorry I missed The Pines. Hope everyone got home safely.

My cold isn't worse, but I am exhausted so I am taking it easy today. There are a few things I need to do for the store, but other than that, I am going to read and maybe even nap. Working this weekend and I can't be tired when I do as I have displays to arrange as well as customers to help.

Holiday, if you did two small afghans that amounted to the correct width that you need then you could add one to either side of the original afghan and it would look like it was meant to be that way. Without swatching it myself, it seems like there would be an added row/vertical line on one side and not the other if you only did one added on afghan.

ROFL ROFL I spit coffee laughing out loud at the makeup on one eye statement. LOL I would do that. LOL And love those boards for projects! Especially because you pop a hole through them for the lighting and wires and not have wires running all over the display having to be discreetly covered by batting or something else.

You might have said RH Love ~ I was thinking soft yarn at the time so it would have been very easy for me to type the wrong word. I would like a nice middle ground yarn to work with so I am going to have to check out that brand. Thank you for the info!

I think it would be mathematically possible to crochet a smaller afghan that would add the correct amount of width to your project and then whip stitch/sew the two pieces together. You should be able to weave the strands in for your border with no problem when you are done.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having technological difficulties! They are a big pain. Fingers crossed that they get resolved quickly!

Thank you, friend. I hope to get in, soon. My Chiropractor just had a baby, so her hours are changed temporarily. And her schedule no longer jives with mine, shooting for next week.

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve!!! The tree's provided gorgeous scenery for my (short) drive to work this morning. They were beautiful. Snow covered & frozen!

One of my best friends is having knee surgery today to fix a torn meniscus. I know she is very worried about it. It could be a 15 minute procedure w/ 4 small incisions, or they may get in there & realize they need to lay her knee open. Praying for the 15 minute procedure! She was my walking buddy for a long time. She has messed around with this knee for a looong time, so I'm hoping this makes her knee good as new! I miss my walking buddy!
