What a busy day I had yesterday. Got a lot done, but still a lot to do. Kind of a day off today, but I am sure I will do something store-related before the day is out. Tomorrow I hope to go somewhere and get my computer updated ~ doesn't seem to work well at home any more.

It sure is! Our Spring is usually a couple months late but it is exciting to think it will be March soon and the hope of brighter days and milder weather will at least be on the cards.

We all have our little markers/milestones during the year individually. I always say on New Years Day that I need to get to March 1. I call it the day of hope because to me the worst time of year ends (Jan/Feb) and now we have as you said spring coming, Easter, longer days, etc.

Good Saturday Morning MMC! Superbowl weekend is here. We're through our first work week of the month and now I hope you all will enjoy this weekend. It's cold this morning here but a nicer semi-mild afternoon is expected. I'm enjoying some french toast and home fries now. Delicious. Should be a low-key weekend which is my goal usually. Sounds like next week we're in for some more snow. They don't sound to know if it's going to be a lot or just consistently getting some snow a few days next week. For what was a very mild autumn and early winter we've kind of settled back into some decent cold/snow the last month (on and off at least). Can't complain though cause it's winter but I just wish it had done this in December instead!

Now that that's been taken care of, we can discuss the looming proximity of our next Milestone, the ONE QUARTER point to the Season.
And an examination of our Countdown chart reveals that this auspicious marker lies just SIX days ahead -- less than one week off!!
(Time sure comes and goes quicklly around here.)


Well, the rain departed at last and was bidden farewell by cold weather which has taken its place.
Currently, we show 31 degrees here with colder temps predicted shortly.


One more day to go before Super Bowl Sunday!

On the down side..both me and the youngest boy are getting sick. On the upside..I was able to inject some code into a circuit board on a light string and make em dance..

Afternoon buddies,
Pouring rain and stormy here. Needed to pop out for some medication for my eldest and a few bits. It was meant to be a quick half hour pop out.

The car stalled in the car park of the shops and wouldn't start. We only had a flat last sunday.Two flats in one month and now this. Grrrrr!

Mr Festive is at the car park now waiting for a local garage to assist. Might be the battery but who knows.

So not much of an easy breezy Saturday here but compared to what some are going through it is only trivial.

Hope you are al enjoying a pleasant Saturday.

It was the battery. They were able to jump start it and take it back the garage for a new battery. Luckily this garage was nearby so it all worked out. Better it happen today rather than on the way to work. Going to try and enjoy what's left of our Saturday. I am in work tomorrow and not ready fot it

I change up the marinade every now and then which is perfect cause you have spicy or non spicy or both! Yes I do them in the oven. It would be great to do them on a BBQ grill outside but I do not own one. We seldom get dry days here so I don't have a BBQ.

I most definitely think your smoked wings are worth trying out! They will be great! Anything smoked is great LOL!

Sounds delicious!! And I agree, I love smoked food!
