Finally trouble-free. I'm sure you can imagine my surprise when I contacted my service provider and after three weeks with no internet access to reach someone who told me that my account had been suspended due to illegal activity. HUH??? My d-link had been recalled and I had no idea because I don't use my old email account so I never received the warning. Someone had hacked into my router and was using it like free wifi. A similar thing happened in April and the technician bypassed something and set me up again, but never told me I needed to get a new router with firewall security. When I shared my frustration with the service rep, he indicated that they are not IT specialists, they are only trained in their own software and set ups. Well, 40 minutes and $70.00 later, I installed a new router all by myself. Got my old laptop back on-line too.

Unfortunately, I can't play catch up right now; I'm heading over to visit my mom. She's been in and out of the hospital twice since mid-January and her spirits are a bit low.

I should get back up later this afternoon. Got my Super Bowl seat picked out, if the CAT doesn't object.

Keep a merry thought in your head; have a Super Sunday!!!

Good morning, Happy Sunday!
Sorry to hear about the internet issue, how frustrating. I'm glad you were able to resolve the problem.
Sending up prayers for your mom, I hope she feels better.
I hope you have a nice day AMD!

Thanks, HMG; I've sure missed the merriment, especially since the across the creek neighbours turned off their outdoor Christmas ligths and things are looking might drab out back.

My mom went to the hospital to remove a wee bit of her colon hoping it would clear up her medical worries with a cancer scare. Less than a week after she was released, she was right back in again; this time with poison in her body from the surgery. They got her cleaned out, but now she has to wear an ostomy bag and that was something she was adamant about not wanting. They told her it might only be for 4-6 months. She'll get used to it and eventually realize it's better than the alternative, but it's embarrassing and frustrating for her.

My dad ranted about his views on the situation privately to me before he contacted anyone else with an update on her condition so he could get all the negative stuff off his chest before he talked optimistically about it with other family members and relatives. I'm glad he and I have that kind of relationship where he can unload when required, otherwise he'd just keep everything all bottled up and that wouldn't do him any good.

When I return later, I'll be anxiously awaiting the opportunity of hearing the merry podcast that I missed out on because my laptop wasn't working and it contains the music players I require to listen. I can hardly wait.

Ugh. I still haven't recovered from all of the shoveling I did on Friday. I'm so achy.
Well HMG it's gonna be a very wintry week ahead BUT my long-range inside sources (lol) tell me the following week we're going back into the 40s and even the 50s by two weeks from now. I have noticed in recent years once we get into the 2nd half of February it seems like the "worst" is usually over. Not to say we can't get some cold/snow through late February into March but normally not as severe as Mid Dec-Mid Feb.

I think the Panthers will win, they are just really good this year. The Broncos' defense is going to have its hands full. I think a Bronco win really hinges on the defense. Manning needs to have just enough magic if the defense plays well. I don't think he has what it takes (any more) to get into a high scoring game with the Panthers. But, I will be rooting for the Broncos anyway. As a Browns fan I am used to rooting for the losing team. Also, as a Browns fan, it is strange to cheer for the Broncos. Yes, I am still bitter about "The Drive", "The Fumble" and 1989.
Well I'm a Jets fan and I haven't seen my team in the SB in my lifetime either :). Maybe some day we will get to see our teams in!

Merry Sunday,
I'm off to work shortly. I'll be home by 8 tonight in time for the Superbowl. It won't start here till 11:30pm. I am going to struggle to stay awake as I'm already exhausted!! Hoping we get a channel that has US coverage with US commentary.

Prayers and thoughts for all. Have a wonderful Sunday!!

Morning everyone and a happy Sunday! Unfortunately I have been down with a chest infection all week which has been a real struggle as I've had a busy week. Hopefully i'll get a doctors appointment this week in case I need something a bit stronger than I'm taking. Anyone with Superbowl party plans enjoy, I think I'll be tucked up in bed with a hot toddy ;-)
Happy Sunday, 'Tis~
Sorry to hear you're unwell. Thinking of you.
Enjoy the hot toddy, and rest well.

Prancer my friend enjoy your Sunday. Nice day here but snow and then very cold weather coming this week. Such is February. Ditto on the prayers for snowflake and Har.
Thanks so much, Edge.
Hope you're having a nice & relaxing Sunday!

Good Sunday Morning MMC! It's Superbowl Sunday! An exciting day and almost a semi-holiday for many. I'll be having my 3 foot Italian wedge, chicken wings, chips & dips, some M&Ms and some pepsi. Everyone is invited (although I may have to order a bigger wedge if everyone from MMC comes). It's kind of another milestone day, in my mind. Next is Valentines Day/Presidents Day weekend. But it's an exciting day for football fans today however a little sad. After today no more football. But we have free agency to watch for in March, the NFL Schedules in April, the NFL Draft in May, and then training camps in July! But just think about this...the next time after today we see a football game will be the HALL OF FAME game which is held the first weekend in AUGUST. Think about that. The next time we see football we'll be towards the latter part of the summer and be heading right towards the BERS! Pretty cool way to think about it.
Enjoy your Superbowl Sunday and I will check back with you all throughout the day!
Enjoy your Superbowl festivities today!

Good Morning, Folks.
We're closing in on 2016 Milestone # 2!

The numbers:
Days to the Season: 280
Days to Christmas Day: 322

FIVE DAYS!
That's all we have left before arriving at the 1/4 Milestone marker to the Season.
(Gee. I wonder what the next one is, but am afraid to look!)

Downright cold here yesterday under a weak sun. At least it was dry.
More of the same today except even colder with possible frozen precipitation by the middle of next week.
We are at 38 cloudy degrees here, currently.

OK! You all know what today is.
(No, not 'Pines Day.)
It's NFL Championship day. The day the Panthers try to win it all!

As such, you have a Super Super Bowl Sunday, Everybody!!
Thanks, Crown~
Good luck to your Panthers today.
Have fun!

Praying for you, Adrian, Harlowe & your family, today and always. ♥
I hope today is a better day (((hugs)))
Thanks so much, friend.
I'm sure hoping, it was a rough night. She was having a difficult time and shaking all night. And a struggle to get her pills down this morning. (and the morning is half doses) Not looking forward to tonight's. I did take a play out of your book, and rang the doorbell. It worked for one of them!
xx
