Good morning MMC! Happy Hump/Pines Day! What a morning! Got a call at 6:45 - Mom thinks she has pneumonia! She didn't sleep well last night due to the coughing + she took Nyquil, so that made her "dopey" (her words!
) My sis checked in on her at 7. I stopped on my way to work & she wanted me to get her some cough drops. I stopped at work to see if they needed anything here - got her cough drops & made her a hot toddy (minus the whiskey
) She thought that helped to calm her cough a little. My brother stopped to check on her while I was there. I came back to work & my other sister was on her way there - she is taking her to the doc at 10:45. I finally got to work a little after 9....and it already seems like I've been here a full day! What the heck?! Hopefully some good drugs will help her out & she won't need to be admitted to the hospital. xx
That's been about all that's going on here today! LOL Have a wonderful day MMC!!! (It's cold outside!)

That is great, just one more day..Good evening,
I will not get caught up yet again tonight. Just too many errands.
Tomorrow is the last day of work, then my vacation starts.
I am nodding off as I type so...
Goodnight, everyone.
Good morning, friends~
Merry Friday!
TGIF!!
Harlowe had an okay night, but I could hear her upset stomach. I can tell she is uncomfortable right now, but I'm going to remain optimistic that things are going to improve for her.
Still happy about last night.
I am trying to get her to take her regular probiotic this morning, and she's fighting me on it, so I'm just going to let it be for now. And try again later today. The vet recommended it along with her antibiotic.
Wishing you all a safe, cozy, and happy Friday!

I am so happy to hear you have some support Stacey. They sound so kind and lovely! Thanks, friend.
I may have to get Mom home!
Another neighbor friend of mine, Michelle, (also has a pup named Gracie) sent a card and asked if we needed anything. (She is the one who brought over homemade food for Har the other night)
So I messaged her today and gave her a grocery list!
Chicken broth, beef broth, eggs, and Mom's carving board lunchmeat. It will be on my steps, and Reggie will take it in when she visits Har this afternoon. I have sweet friends in my neighborhood, they are both dog Mom's.
Well, I just talked to Har's vet. She has A LOT of the bad bacteria in her, I can't remember the different names. It can be stress induced, illness induced, or something she came in contact with. She needs to go on antibiotics immediately. I will pick them up tonight, I pray I can get her to take them.
Love the bow. The colour suits her!
YES!!!! Stacey I am so pleased to hear she ate and not only that but had some medicine!!!! (((hugs)))Good evening, friends~
We have had a GOOD night!
I came home and my girl was still a little shaky, but ate a treat in front of me. Good prequel to the rest of the night so far. Then we went outside and I was hoping she'd walk past the driveway, which she did, so we went on a walk. We went the whole way around our neighborhood this time, with her leading me. She seemed to enjoy sniffing & investigating the other scents again. Another good sign.
Then we came home and unpacked her care package from our friends. She seemed curious, so I cut up the hamburger and started the stove. We threw in some of the beef broth from Michelle and Gracie, and she was interested in it cooking the whole time. Another yeah! moment.
I let her smell the fork I was using, which got her even more interested. Then while I was cutting it up, I gave her just enough to stay interested. Then I took her new medicine (thank God it's small) and wrapped it in some hamburger, and hand fed it to her.! She didn't even realize.
{So ecstatic because I've done that before & she always detected it, little stinker.}
She ate pretty darn well considering she's eaten so little in the past five days.
She even got a little spunky afterwords, so I know that food gave her a little bit of energy and strength. Yay!!!!!!!
Like I said earlier, we have a long road ahead but at least we can face it head on when she's stronger.
*****Thank you again for all of your kindness, support, and prayers*****
Harlowe thanks you, too
xx

A vacation sounds good right about now...Good evening,

Tomorrow is the last day of work, then my vacation starts.

Goodnight, everyone.
Thanks Crown. I can't believe we're already 25% of the way back to the season!********** MILESTONE DAY **********
Good Morning, Friends.
And you read the banner headline above correctly.
We have indeed arrived at our second Milestone of the 2016 Christmas Countdown!
Days to the Season: 275
Days to Christmas Day: 317
Yes, Folks. The first quarter of our Season count is now behind us.
(And after this next quarter is done, we will be HALF way through!)
We are in a cold rut here.
Day after day. It doesn't change.
Today's installment comes in at 28 degrees and it won't get past the mid 30's all day. Frozen precipitation of some kind is predicted for later today as well, to spice things up a bit.
Regardless, it is Weekend Eve and we are all set to have a Fabulous Friday, right?
Indeed!
