Hope everyone is having a good day so far.
The Dr. appointment went well. Fortunately, she didn't need any convincing that Isaac's coughing and the coughing episodes he's had recently is a concern. I explained to her that the antibiotic treatment hasn't done much for him nor has the Ventolin inhaler. She agreed that it's been a number of weeks and this isn't normal.
She suspects asthma so we have been prescribed a steroid inhaler which he has to use on top of the other inhaler. She will assess him again in another two weeks. If there is no improvement or things get worse before then he will be referred to Pediatrics hospital for tests.
I hope and pray this works for him. He currently has a virus so this isn't helping things and is most likely aggravating the asthma. If there is no change over the weekend I will be going back before our scheduled appointment though.
