I am going in to work a little early to catch up ( I say that all the time and never really catch up) but the days go by like a blur because I'm so busy all the time there. Can't wait for this weekend. My car has been running fine since it didn't start on Monday afternoon. I will still go and get a new battery on Saturday so I can have peace of mine. Looking forward to a relaxing weekend to come.

Good evening, just ran through the posts quick. Sorry I can't respond to everyone, it's been a hectic day and my head is pounding. Maggie's appointment went alright I guess. They took an X-ray and it shows she has significant tracheal collapse, nothing I didn't know. I'm heartbroken that there really isn't anything we can do and it will continue to progress. We're trying another round of antibiotics for the next few weeks. If her symptoms don't improve at all we'll discuss anti inflammatory medications. We'll see what happens.
I felt like I was getting sicker by the minute so I forced myself to go to the doctor this evening. Good thing I went, I have the flu. I already started Tamiflu, I hope it kicks in soon. I feel awful. Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers for Maggie and I, I really appreciate it.

In olden days, when typewriters were new (and manual), the keyboard was arranged differently. The fastest typists would type so fast that the type bars would get tangled. So someone invented a keyboard that would slow things down ... and it caught on. (No, I didn't make that up!)

I believe you. The funny thing is now if I was given a keyboard with the letters arranged in order I would type so much slower lol. I actually type probably 60-75 WPM. Not sure how I learned to with the keys the way they are arranged.

No tears in my daughter's knee...it's a growth plate irritation. She's got a different brace that locks so she'll be able to bend her knee a bit, but not too far. She has another appointment in 2 weeks for a checkup. She can have the brace off if she's resting, but needs it on when she's moving around and needs to continue to use the crutches and cannot put weight on her leg. I was worried that she did something to her ligaments so I am relieved that there'll be no surgery. She still wants to play sports and while she's upset that she won't be able to play basketball for her school, she's happy that she'll most likely be able to play soccer (her favorite) next quarter. She was worried that she may have had to miss playing sports the rest of the school year. Seeing her in so much pain while they were checking the strength of her knee made me almost physically sick. But for how she went into the boards and hurt herself and with her knee being so sensitive to the touch, I couldn't have asked for a better diagnostic.

Sounds nice!

We will be doing the same-nice weather tomorrow, so we plan to do some grilling. And then a movie or two, walks with Harlowe :)
