And we do indeed live in exciting times as we move very close to our next marker.

First, today's numbers, then more about the pending Milestone.
Days to the Season: 236
Days to Christmas Day: 278

And our looming Milestone marker?
Well, it's the ONE QUARTER point to Christmas Day 2016 and we are just barely over HALF A WEEK away from it. Four days from today.

Still rather cool yesterday but warmth promises a return today and for the remainder of the week. Couple that with no rain until at least Friday and happy days are here again!
We stand at 38 degrees here currently, but should reach the mid 60's by this afternoon.

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! Happy Bday to Snowflake! Happy Bday to my sister. And Happy Bday to anyone else who's bday is today! A chilly morning here almost feels like October/November (but then again that's kind of what March really is). Supposed to be beautiful though and temperatures warming up this week. The weekend for Easter they are forecasting temperatures in the 50s with sunshine. I'll take that for late March. Just going to work here in a few and then home to relax after work. My sister is going out for her birthday. We're gonna go out to eat tomorrow night so for tonight I'm just gonna be home relaxing with Nitro (my favorite thing to do).

It could be a strained muscle or tendon if you work on a computer or hold a pen a lot. It might be worth getting it checked out. Sometimes it may just be a case of doing specific exercise to get things back to normal. It must be so uncomfortable considering how much we use our hands!!! Look after yourself. Prayers for things to heal quickly.

Thank you ... it was a nuisance, but it's becoming a problem. I suspect it may be tendonitis, and it feels like the muscles around it are tensing up. It isn't swollen, red, or hot, but it certainly is not what it should be. And yes, at work I'm on a computer or using a pen, and the handwritten marks are very fine work sometimes---I've been seeing a LOT of small print lately, and small print calls for small marks. Don't worry, I'll get it looked at before it gets out of hand.

It's wonderfully chilly this morning. I even had ice on my windshield! That's probably the last time till next year, so I ran outside to see my breath one last time LOL.

MerryCarey I hope you can find some relief from the pain you are experiencing. I agree that smelling like Icy Hot is not ideal. Are there odour-free creams you can use? My husband sometimes struggles with his lower back, we found Voltaren works and doesn't stink, which is important to me as I'm the one rubbing it on his back and I hate when my hands smell of medicated cream.

Thanks for the advice! I don't think we have that brand here, but there must be other brands available. The Icy Hot isn't doing much to help, anyway. I think I'll need to see a doctor before long.

Just looked up Voltaren---I like the sound of that! Instead of capsaicin or menthol, it's an NSAID that is delivered through the skin. I'll see if I can find something like that!
